I couldn't be happier with this litter box! The functionality is top-notch, and it’s so easy to set up, even with minimal instructions. The automatic cleaning feature is a major plus, adding incredible convenience to my daily routine. It's extremely user-friendly, and the QR code that comes with it makes navigating the app a breeze. The app even provides useful insights, like a breakdown of how many times your cats have used it, the duration of their last use, and even their weight. The litter box does an excellent job of keeping things clean, and the odor control is impressive, thanks to the efficient capture compartment. Its quiet operation is another bonus, ensuring it doesn't disturb the household. The variety of color options adds a stylish touch to what is typically a mundane item. We have two cats — one small and one large — and both fit comfortably without any issues. The only slight drawback is that the capture container can be a bit tricky to pull out, but this might just be due to user error on my part when placing the bag. Regardless, this is a very minor issue that doesn’t impact my overall satisfaction or rating. The media could not be loaded. To add context, I have four Maine Coons and one former feral domestic all indoor only cat’s. I have had Litter Robot 4 for a while and love it and it works great, but now that I have recently added two of my five cats to my family, it was time to get a second automatic self-cleaning cat litter box, but I didn’t want to pay what the amazing Litter Robot 4 costs so after much research of the other more affordable options Amazon offers, I picked this one. Is this equivalent to the Litter Robot 4? No, but you can also buy three of these for the cost of the Litter Robot 4, so that’s to be expected. This one has cleaned well so far, the assembly was easy and quick and has some fun options. I like that this one uses the Tuya/Smart Life phone apps, because I have a lot of devices that use this app so not having to install yet another proprietary app was great, but with that said, it does have two minor downsides, currently the Tuya/Smart Life phone apps do not have the ability to notify you when the cats are and/or have used the litter box and also when it’s time to empty the waste bin with a new bag. The other minor downside is you cannot display the cats weights in pounds. If this is your first automatic self-cleaning cat litter box, then you won’t be used to those two minor downsides, and it probably won't be a big deal at all. The waste draw is smaller than the one in the Litter Robot 4, but that may be a better thing, as we all know used clumping cat litter gets very heavy so discarding somewhat smaller and lighter waste bags will be better for some. I use Dr. Elsey's Premium **unscented** Clumping Cat Litter in both self-cleaning cat litter boxes and it works awesome. I cannot stress this enough, do not use the scented version of Dr. Elsey's Premium Clumping Cat Litter, even with the waste draws it produces a horrible smell. I think some of the complaints and issues some have detailed in their reviews are due to not using the best type of litter for these self-cleaning cat litter boxes. I have seen a lot of reviews about it not working for some and am copying & pasting some of the review left by: Cleva_Queenpen on: July 21, 2024, because while the box was in transit to me, I read all the review and when I saw Cleva_Queenpen’s, I print screened it and saved it and the information was very helpful: “Some pointers for those having issue with the setup. If you see the message, “Door anti-pinch triggered” it just means that you need to readjust the liner bag, so it doesn’t get caught during the rotation of the drum. Rather than making the bag's sizes square like the shape of the box, the company made them rectangular. It’s a bit tricky because you need to make sure that the liner isn’t bunched up around its edges. Once you secure the tray, the error message should go away. If not, power down the unit (or unplug the cord), rearrange it again, then power it back on. For the Wi-Fi issues, there is a simple fix to switch your 5G broadband internet to 2.5G. I have Spectrum and I called customer service for advice. The best way to explain it is that most internet providers have multiple bands when using a router. You will need to temporarily switch to the 2.5G band at the initial setup. After that, your Wi-Fi will revert back to 5G & 2.5G band and the unit will stay connected. Last thing is if the unit is not cleaning automatically after your pet uses it. The drum has a weight sensor, and the calibration may be a bit off. This is more about scale and balance. Be sure to even the amount of litter in the box. Put enough litter to reach the fabric’s seams inside the box. (picture provided), then do a reset. In closing it’s not the Litter Robot 4, but it’s also less than third of the cost. I have kept it near where I work from home all day, to really keep an eye on it and make sure it is functioning properly & safely and it has not a single time in almost a week, started to cycle the litter while one of my cats are/were in it. One area it’s superior to the Litter Robot 4 is how quiet it is, it is much quieter than the Litter Robot 4. The option to change the inside light color is fun, but cat’s do not see in color like humans, so the colors won’t matter to them, lol. Several of my Maine Coons are massive in size and over thirty pounds and they are using it as well, I have a feeling because they have been using the Litter Robot 4 for a while and acclimated to it, acclimating to this new and far smaller circular opening box was nice and easy for them 😊. Finally, I have seen a lot of complaints about the customer service being via WhatsApp, I had questions and reached out via their WhatsApp, and they responded in less than 24 hours in very clear and understandable English. I actually like it being via WhatsApp, because you can see when your msg/questions we first delivered and read, you won’t get that via most email providers these days. When you combine the affordable price, features, even my very large & heavy cats using it (at least mine are), and fast & understandable responses via WhatsApp, I have to give this 5 stars. ... show more

Trying to keep up with the litter boxes with 2 cats is almost impossible. This thing has changed my life! Extremely easy to setup. The motion detection works great to keep my cats safe and the odor is blocked off in the dump bin. It comes with plenty of liners, so I only need to empty it once a week. I was worried my cats would be afraid of it, but they both used it Immediately after I set it up! No exaggeration.
