These dishes are very pretty and feel ultra smooth like China. They are pretty thin so I’m not sure yet how durable they are, so hoping for the best. While microwave safe, they get extremely hot. My other dishes wouldn’t get hot unless they were in for multiple minutes. I only had a bowl in the microwave for a minute and 15 seconds and it was scalding hot. Had to use oven mittens. I have always had Correlle dishes, that’s what I grew up on, and everyone in our family used correlle. But I wanted something a little more bold in color. These are awesome!! Beautiful colors and nice solid plates and bowls. I ended up buying a second set. Highly recommended
