So I ordered and was skeptical and of course the bread type button and timer button and cancel button did not work. I asked for a replacement and it worked perfectly but the other reviews are correct that it does not toast evenly but it still work.

I purchased this March 10th 2024! First two uses, I started to see flaws, but I shook it off because I wanted to love this red, touch screen toaster. It looks like some state of the art toaster of the future.. WRONG! Now it burns the bread even if I put it at it's lightest. I bought this to show my daughters they don't have to fry their bread to make toast. They had never used or seen a toaster in person. I wanted them to enjoy making breakfast an easier way. I thought this should work a lot better than it does. It doesn’t toast very even and it takes a while to figure out the right setting. It either burned or barely toasted. So our search will continue.
