  • Two years of success using these
Size: 5 Pack
Very aggressive growers. Seeds still great a year later, bloomed no problem. Expect to have more basil than you know what to do with. Still have tons of seeds for year 3.

  • Great Germination
Size: 12 Pack
Everything I grew had over an 80% germination rate. There are a few things I am not 100% sure if it's the seeds, my climate, or both. Everything that grew was kind of weak looking and small. Nothing really grew well after they started sprouting. I live in Texas and we had a really bad summer this year, so that could have been a big factor in this. However, even prior to the heat coming in, none of the seedlings looked great (they had months of good weather too). I planted these outside, so they had plenty of sunlight. The only thing that is still alive and grew well is the basil. I noticed there are some other comments saying the same thing too. Maybe these were just a bad package of seeds? I wish the seed packets had better planting information on them about zoning areas too. I did not realize that so many of these herbs actually hate hot weather. ... show more

Nice selection and a good price. It’s too early to start my seeds here in NY but I’m looking forward to this! I recommend this product

  • Why are seeds so much fun??
Size: 12 Pack
I bought a hydroponic machine (ok, I ended up buying two!) and got these seeds to grow in it. I was like an excited kid with a new toy when they arrived. I loved looking through them and so far the ones I tried are growing great in the hydroponic garden. I tried the lettuces, tomatoes, bell peppers, multiple herbs and peas. All are growing great and we've already eaten some lettuce which was great. ... show more

  • They are challenging to get to sprout
Size: 5 Pack
So I am the first one to admit I am not experienced on growing seeds into plants. However I've purchased multiple different seeds from multiple different places and while not 100% sprouting occurred in every one of those at least four out of five did indeed sprout. And these are comparable plants. Like this set has basil and another set had basil and I planted them all in various different ways. Some jiffy starter pots some starter soil and some in a simple paper towel in a plastic jar in the sun. The instructions on the packet for these seeds for many of them ask that you soak them in hot water for 8 to 12 hours. I question how you do that? Are they asking us to put them in a slow cooker or on the oven or literally replace the water every 20 minutes for a 12-hour period to keep it warm.. anyhow I did my best It didn't result in anything. Now it's only been a few weeks and I suppose something could grow but I planted a lot of similar plants around the same time and the other brands have all sprouted well like almost 100% sprouting for all of the other plants in all of the other methods. With this seed pack being the only one that seems like it doesn't want to sprout. So perhaps this is just a very difficult to grow variety of seeds. I can't say that they won't sprout but I can say that in this amount of time with the same procedures done other than the soaking seeds in hot water for 8 hours other seeds of the exact same type of plant have sprouted overwhelmingly. I was planting or using or starting five different seeds from each packet because I figured most of them wouldn't grow but almost all of them did except the seeds from this packet. So I can't say for sure that they won't sprout but I can say that these are not sprouting as easily as three or four different brands of seeds that I've purchased ... show more
