The boxes are a bit flimsy, but they do the job. It would be nice to somehow latch them together when stacked, but again, they do the job. I like being able to see all my shoes and having them so organized finally. Looks good, I think.

My show collection was getting a little excessive, so I thought I'd grab these to give them a shot and wow, I love them. They've consolidated and made so much more space available in my closet, and make it so easy to quickly grab the pair I want to wear for the day. My only gripe (but it's not enough to knock it down a star) is putting them together. Just a heads up these things ship flat and you have to put together each individual shoe box. It's not difficult at all, but I wasn't quite mentally prepared for the tedious effort. Still highly recommend these! ... show more

I just purchased these in Large and Extra Large. The XL are a good size but the Large seem to be a little bit smaller than what I imagined. The measurements are correct, you just might need to adjust your shoes on how you put them in the box. For the first 15 minutes, I really struggled with putting these together and I thought I was going to throw in the towel. Once I got over my frustration and logically looked at how to put them together, it was easy. Once you do one, it all comes together but it does take time. Considering how many of these you get for the price, it's worth it! They seem a little rickety when you first put them together but once the front and back go on, they get much sturdier. And I like how you can build as many as you can on top of each other so it's flexible within your closet, etc. My only recommendation would be that when putting the L and XL together, they use the same instruction sheet. And on the L, there are 4 tabs on each side but on the XL, there are 6 tabs on each side but the instructions say there are 4 which is what was throwing me off at first. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to update the instructions if they change by size of boxes so it's less confusing. ... show more

These were super easy to build. The design of them made it easy to fit together when stacked on top of each other. I'm not sure how easy it is to take apart though cause it's pretty secure . I can fit womens size 10 bulky sneakers inside. One shoe turned on it's side and the other up right. I feel like I can store other small light items inside if I want. But overall I like them and for the price and quantity you can't beat it. ... show more

These are true to the pictures. I bought 2 sets of 12. Clear. After setting up 1 set, I'm returning the other. All due to assembly. I'd love to hear directly from reviewers who said it was EASY. Theoretically its a piece of cake...BUT!! If you figured out the secret, plz share it. To start with, I'm not afraid of assembly (I'm an Ikea pro) . The instructions were very minimal but you can figure it out. BUT.... 1)The cubbies arrive FLAT & you bend them till squared. REALLY squared or you're diomed from the start. They're very wobbly. 2)then, per the instructions, you bend the 4 small rectangular tabs at each end..inward. Ok...how much of a bend? Apparently just slightly. 3) then.. the back end....which has to slip over the cubbie frame. APPARENTLY these TABS are supposed to snap it on. What a joke. Supposedly you hear a SNAP when it's in place. This is like pushing a cork under water...it immediately bobs up someplace else. I'd get 2 sides snapped, go to the third, get it snapped and 1 or 2 of the ones I'd just done pops off. So..if you have 4 hands this might work ok, I don't. I'd use one arm to try & hold things down while I finished. It kind of became a completion btwn me & it!!! I kept thinking after I'd done a few, I'd figure out the secret. NOPE!! If someone has it, plz tell me even though its too late. 4) the sides NEVER stayed in. So, I took a step back ...held the sides in as best I could & used scotch tape to keep it locked. Its holding but this is NOT acceptable (how screwy...SHAME IN THEM) & it'll only be a matter of time till it doesn't hold...then what? 5) once you had the back done, the front door panel was SLIGHTLY easier but still required taping. 6)the tabs to stack them vertically worked great..YIPPEE. 7) pulling the doors open & shut is probably going to take a toll on the front staying on even with tape. This was just such a hassle, I just couldn't face doing 12 more so the 2nd box is being returned. On the plus side 1) I got the regular size cubbies & they fit up to women's size 11 fine. 2) I was able to store 3‐4 sets of flip flops in ONE cubbie 3) the stack on my shelf (3x3) looks good ..for now. There you have it. I didn't find another storage system that would work as well for me size wise so I'm stuck dealing with this. I'll REALLY be unhappy if the tape dries & these fall apart in 6mos. I almost returned these because they looked very chintzy and after struggling for 10 minutes to put the first one together, I realized that if you just concentrate on one side at a time, they go together quickly and easily. So, 1) make sure the box is as rectangular as possible. 2) fold the little tabs down 3) make sure the locking tabs are on top 4) take the door end and snap the smaller side (width) in place first, then move to the longer side (length) and snap it in, then the next width and finally the last length. 5) place the back the same way ***The locking tabs add a lot of stability ***Not made for boots or platforms. Walk-in closet; All my shoes were on the floor where these are now. I stacked 4 all throughout. 24 (12 pkg Large size) and I was able to place 2 sets of sneakers 👟 into one cubby w closed door and heels 👠 2 pairs on some, flip flops and sandals up to 3 pairs in one cubby w door closed. This is truly a game changer, it organized my shoes finally off the floor or cheap plastic stacks I had. Big sneakers may require XL boxes. The door is good and sturdy, we did 24 plastic boxes in 15 min. Had it all done and organized in 30 min. Very ease of use and keeps smelly shoes away ( we all have a pair or too) and places a Gain singles pod on the top. Closet looks bigger, less dark and organized. ... show more
