Inexplicably, my dog recently decided that my shoes are delicious. After losing three pairs of shoes to her acquired love of my footwear, I researched shoe cabinets and found a nice yet inexpensive one that would more than do the job. It was on sale, so I paid around $200 for it. Honestly, this felt like a great price to pay to protect shoes, as I’d already lost more than that in replacing what she’d chewed. Show cabinets, it turns out, are very shallow. They’re great for a pair of low sneakers, but boots don’t fit and sandals slide around. I was severely disappointed. My best friend, however, loves the cabinet and it’s a perfect fit for her new house. I thought I might just buy a large tub or something with a lid to hold my shoes, but my mum suggested the ol’ over-the-door option. This one was inexpensive, so it didn’t feel like much of a gamble to give it a try. First thing I loved: the pockets are a lot bigger than expected; I was able to fit in one pocket a pairs of Keds that I was sure would need to be separated. Sandals could easily be doubled up if needed. Despite feeling like the hooks might be a little flimsy, they are actually quite sturdy. The mesh on the front is so much better than my mum’s from the 80’s (which was clear plastic), which makes organisation easier. It’s so easy to find exactly what I’m looking for. I can’t believe that a $15 product would have solved my problem months ago, and much better than a $200 one. 10/10 extremely happy, and going to purchase more for other areas of the house to store other items like office and craft supplies, cleaning supplies, and more. ... show more

Love this shoe rack! It has 24 slots so it can fit 12 pairs of shoes, or 24 slippers of you fit them into 1 slot. It’s amazing for small apartments that need more storage. We hang ours on the back of our coat closet and it’s hardly noticeable. However, the hooks required to keep it up show on the very top of the door on the outside. But don’t worry, it doesn’t stop the door from closing. We personally don’t mind it and use it to hang our clothes for the next day. If that’s something that ruins your aesthetic, or you just don’t like it, I wouldn’t recommend it. However we love the shoe rack and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for one. This is a simple canvas shoe holder that hangs off three metal hooks over a door. They don't hold large men's sneakers, I wear an 11½ and they won't quite fit into the pockets. I ordered this after returning the previous order of a different product that actually contained over 50 parts. It was just too much! I didn't even bother to open the various packaging holding the parts. Back it went!! I received this product today and what a pleasant surprise! This is cheap, light weight and went over the closet door in about 10 seconds. There are no tools needed. While there's nothing fancy about it, there's nothing that needs to be fancy. It consists of 4 pieces, 3 hooks that actually go over the door and the shoe organizer (or whatever you want to put in the pockets.) That's it! It's a wonderful space saving, easy to install, just perfect product. While money wasn't the object of returning the other product, I purchased two of these for less money.
