Love this shoe rack! Easily able to store 18 pairs of children’s shoes without the clutter anymore! Easy and quick build, seems pretty sturdy and well made materials. Love the narrow design that I’m able to have this behind my front door entry.

The cabinet is better than I thought. Even when lifting the box, it was heavier than I expected, being so inexpensive. The instructions booklet is easy to follow (I have a lot of IKEA experience, and this is better than their instructions, which isn't saying much). I liked that they state how many spares they pack for each screw, so you know you are not missing any. The only issue, really, was on Step 7 - when you screw the metal base into the base of the cabinet, they are longer than they should, so they pierce to the other side of the wood board. Since that is the bottom of the inside of the cabinet, it will never show, but it it a small flaw nonetheless. If your shoes are too big they will not fit easily... these pictured are all size 9. Overall, I recommend, with these caveats. ... show more

Our shoe area was always a mess. I tried different shelves and they just didn’t cut it. This one provides each of us our own cabinet and plenty of room for our “in season” shoes. This shoe cabinet took a while to assemble but the instructions were straightforward. My 14 year old son assembled it by himself. It is a very nice looking cabinet. So I absolutely love this piece of furniture. Listen - you can’t put boots or anything in there, but sneakers and flip flops fit nicely. It is sturdy and a good piece of furniture. Couple of things: check your parts before putting it together. I’m a 54 year old woman and putting this together was easy in my opinion. However - I almost had the whole thing together when I realized they forgot to put a particular piece in, and gave me 2 of another (close to the same size so I didn’t notice it upon opening the box, but because holes are pre-drilled, it couldn’t be substituted). I wound up ordering a new one because I couldn’t re-pack the one that was almost together. When it arrived I took the piece I needed and put the extra of the other back in (I told Amazon the issue on the return so hopefully they did not sell to another person). Moral of the story- check your pieces before putting together!! The only other thing is according to the directions, you should anchor this to your wall. The problem is I have trim, so in order to anchor it, I’d have to take the bottom metal pieces off and hang it, which I didn’t want to do. I decided to live with it freestanding, and it is totally fine. Not wobbly at all. Like I said, great piece of furniture and easy to put together (although a bit time consuming). Love the size: it's not too wide and fits on the wall by my bed with plenty of room. And easily fits 12 pairs of shoes- and even 14 in a pinch. Plus, I think its gorgeous. Relatively easy to out together, tho I did have to redo a couple of steps when I attached two pieces the wrong way. Lovely shoe space saver. I like the narrow profile of the cabinet. It fits great by our back door. The boots will fit in sideways but get used a lot. It did take a couple of hours to put together and was missing a handle screw. The missing screw is not the reason for 4 stars, it’s the fact that my husband had to go buy screws for the one that was missing. I was unable to message Maupit directly to get the replacement screw. Amazon told me they would send me an entire new cabinet so that I could pull a screw out of the box and then send them the cabinet package back. Pass. So I added a photo of the screws for the handle in case anyone else has that problem. Overall, it’s sturdy, there’s a bracket that’s hidden to hold it to the wall so that it doesn’t tip, the doors open and closes smoothly, and it looks great!
