The boxes are a bit flimsy, but they do the job. It would be nice to somehow latch them together when stacked, but again, they do the job. I like being able to see all my shoes and having them so organized finally. Looks good, I think.

These surprised me coming flat but not difficut to put together. Love that you can attach them to each other and stack them and they stay stacked! Material very light weight with I love. Once together quite strong and easy to move and rearrange.

The size of the box is perfect for shoes and small booties. The box is made of a very thin plastic material. It was easy to assemble, but definitely feels flimsy. I'm not sure how well it'll hold up to repeated opening and closing, but I think for display or just storage without frequent access, this will be fine. ... show more

Used for alot of pairs of shoes. I did not dislike anything about these, they were a little time consuming but for the quality I didn’t mind at all… just buy them you won’t be disappointed. Very sturdy and nice looking once assembled ❤️ pay attention to the way you assemble the front part to make sure the front opens all to the left or all to the right when placing front door on the containers ... show more

My show collection was getting a little excessive, so I thought I'd grab these to give them a shot and wow, I love them. They've consolidated and made so much more space available in my closet, and make it so easy to quickly grab the pair I want to wear for the day. My only gripe (but it's not enough to knock it down a star) is putting them together. Just a heads up these things ship flat and you have to put together each individual shoe box. It's not difficult at all, but I wasn't quite mentally prepared for the tedious effort. Still highly recommend these! ... show more

These are true to the pictures. I bought 2 sets of 12. Clear. After setting up 1 set, I'm returning the other. All due to assembly. I'd love to hear directly from reviewers who said it was EASY. Theoretically its a piece of cake...BUT!! If you figured out the secret, plz share it. To start with, I'm not afraid of assembly (I'm an Ikea pro) . The instructions were very minimal but you can figure it out. BUT.... 1)The cubbies arrive FLAT & you bend them till squared. REALLY squared or you're diomed from the start. They're very wobbly. 2)then, per the instructions, you bend the 4 small rectangular tabs at each end..inward. Ok...how much of a bend? Apparently just slightly. 3) then.. the back end....which has to slip over the cubbie frame. APPARENTLY these TABS are supposed to snap it on. What a joke. Supposedly you hear a SNAP when it's in place. This is like pushing a cork under water...it immediately bobs up someplace else. I'd get 2 sides snapped, go to the third, get it snapped and 1 or 2 of the ones I'd just done pops off. So..if you have 4 hands this might work ok, I don't. I'd use one arm to try & hold things down while I finished. It kind of became a completion btwn me & it!!! I kept thinking after I'd done a few, I'd figure out the secret. NOPE!! If someone has it, plz tell me even though its too late. 4) the sides NEVER stayed in. So, I took a step back ...held the sides in as best I could & used scotch tape to keep it locked. Its holding but this is NOT acceptable (how screwy...SHAME IN THEM) & it'll only be a matter of time till it doesn't hold...then what? 5) once you had the back done, the front door panel was SLIGHTLY easier but still required taping. 6)the tabs to stack them vertically worked great..YIPPEE. 7) pulling the doors open & shut is probably going to take a toll on the front staying on even with tape. This was just such a hassle, I just couldn't face doing 12 more so the 2nd box is being returned. On the plus side 1) I got the regular size cubbies & they fit up to women's size 11 fine. 2) I was able to store 3‐4 sets of flip flops in ONE cubbie 3) the stack on my shelf (3x3) looks good ..for now. There you have it. I didn't find another storage system that would work as well for me size wise so I'm stuck dealing with this. I'll REALLY be unhappy if the tape dries & these fall apart in 6mos. I almost returned these because they looked very chintzy and after struggling for 10 minutes to put the first one together, I realized that if you just concentrate on one side at a time, they go together quickly and easily. So, 1) make sure the box is as rectangular as possible. 2) fold the little tabs down 3) make sure the locking tabs are on top 4) take the door end and snap the smaller side (width) in place first, then move to the longer side (length) and snap it in, then the next width and finally the last length. 5) place the back the same way ***The locking tabs add a lot of stability ***Not made for boots or platforms. We received the boxes overnight delivery, which was included in the purchase. Early morning project. The first box went together after several minutes, but once you get the hang of the assembly they snap together in seconds. Took about 10 minutes to put together the 12 boxes. Men's size 9 and 9.5 fit nicely in the boxes. We will not close the front panel because it's difficult to open due to being flimsy. They are not super sturdy but for the price point, will hold up well with easy handling. Stack nicely in the closet. Would purchase again. ... show more
