For the very affordable price, this camera is unexpectedly amazing. I have never owned a security camera before. This seemed like a good, basic starter camera. It was easy to download the app and set the camera up. The app is intuitive, and I haven’t run into any problems with it. The app itself seems very well designed. The camera quality is very clear. Night vision is very good as well—last night it even notified me at 3 am when a raccoon walked across my yard. It wasn’t even super close to the camera! I included a picture of the camera view during the day and at night. I love that I get notified on my phone whenever it senses activity. There have been a few times where it sensed activity/recorded/notified me, but there wasn’t actually anything going on in the video. However, this does not bother me, as I would rather the motion sensor be overly sensitive than not sensitive enough/miss things. I didn’t know you could even speak into the camera from your phone—honestly so cool!! I am so impressed with everything about this camera. It truly makes me feel more safe/secure. Especially because it notifies my phone when I’m out of the house if there is any activity in the camera. So far, this product is a 10/10 for me, I would highly recommend it. I am considering buying a second one for my back door. This camera was everything I wanted in a security camera, plus even more extra features that I wasn’t expecting (like speaking into phone to play on the camera speakers). I have no regrets about this camera so far. Although I’ve only had it set up for 4 days, so I can’t speak on the longevity of the product. But as of now, I am super happy with my purchase. Edit: About 2 months later, I felt the need to update my review with my current thoughts. I was really hoping that this camera would continue to work, and good news—This camera is still AMAZING. I actually still haven’t had to charge it since I wrote my original review, which is sort of insane because it’s been constantly on ever since I purchased it. I am so impressed with the battery life. I literally don’t have a single negative thing to say about this camera. It works so perfectly. I get notified on my phone the second something pops up on the camera. The app is great, and lets you go back and rewatch recorded events/download them to your phone. I haven’t had any sort of glitches or problems with the app whatsoever. This has genuinely been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon lol. The peace of mind it gives me is so wonderful. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a great security camera. 10/10 purchase EDIT #2: It's been 7 months since I purchased this. It still works just like it did when I bought it! I'm really impressed by this, as so many products out there start to break down over time. But not this one! (at least so far lol). This has been a good investment. The battery life is still great, the app still works well, the picture quality is still great, and I still feel safer because of it! Serves its purpose well. I’ve had no issues with this camera. Easy installation, clear image, & easy to use app. You can pay for a premium plan that comes with more features, but the free version is enough for me & works well. Charge lasts about 2-3 months. Great security camera for the price!

    • A little over sensitive on cars driving by and app needs improvement

Just got mine setup, and here are my initial thoughts. - The camera is easy to install. - Battery percentage dropped about 2% after 1 days use sitting outside, and that's with me playing with it, testing it, and just seeing what it can do. - The app is easy to use, but the font on the screen is very small and may be hard to ready for those who have a hard time with reading small print. Fees - You can use this for free, but, you only get up to 20 seconds of recording when it turns on, and you don't get any of the smart features. It's just a camera that turns on when it senses movement and records 10-20 seconds of video - The fees for the smart features and longer recording times are different for single camera or multiple cameras. It's either 1 camera, or unlimited cameras in their plans. - Single camera is 4.48 a month or 47.49 a year. - Multiple cameras (unlimited) is 9.99 a month or 105.99 a year. (There is no 2 camera option on plans) Image quality - Camera quality seems fine, and you can pinch and zoom the video feed. - Nighttime quality seemed okay up to about 50' away, but you can't read license plates with the night time video. - You can also take snapshots from the video, or record your own video to your phone. - 2K video seemed a bit laggy at times, even with it being just a few feet from my router. When I mounted it over my garage door, it's about 20' away from the router, but still connects just fine, but still has small moments of lag at times. - The talk through camera feature was difficult to use. There is no indication of do you hold down the button or not, and audio of things you say didn't always come out the camera. What needs improvement - There is no PC support yet. You can not have this running on your PC. This is a huge miss in their software development because it would be nice to see the pictures on my much bigger PC screen while I'm working and have the ability to record onto my hard drive would have been nice. - The app is not great for multiple users - Such as a husband and wife both wanting to see the camera when an alert comes through. The same account can not be logged in on multiple devices, the other person must register a new account with a second email address, and the device shared with that other account. - The app could be made easier to navigate. I still haven't found an account settings screen where you can manage your subscription, update email address, etc.. The font in the app is not old people friendly, if you struggle reading small font, this may be difficult to get through the install. - Even on low sensitivity, the camera would send an alert every time a car went by on the road about 80' from my house. I had to adjust the camera to not see the road. I think this is solved with the paid smart features, but if you are using for free, you will need to adjust the camera to hide the busy street. ... show more

I purchased a few of these cameras for home security and they are extremely easy to set up and are reliable. The app is also super easy to manage. For the price I was worried they’d be on the cheaper side but they’re great; you can set up notifications, easily access them and the best part is the battery lasts a super long time, a couple of weeks before it needs a charge.
