  • Fun for Younger Kids Too!
I bought Search Party: Chaos at the Park for a family game night, and it was a huge hit with my kids (2, 4, and 6). They were engaged the entire time! They loved following the characters through the amusement park attractions and solving the little mysteries. The 3D element made it even more exciting, as they felt like they were truly in the park exploring! The missions were simple enough for my younger kids to understand but still challenging enough to keep them focused. They especially enjoyed using the mini magnifying glass. This game is recommended for ages 8 and up, but my younger kids were able to play along with minimal help from us. I would have to give them clues sometimes but that comes with the territory for them at their ages. I highly recommend Search Party for any family looking for a fun and interactive game that’s easy to learn and can be played over and over again! ... show more

  • Fun for one kid
This was fun for my 6 year old, who enjoyed going through all the missions. It’s not really something that can be done too collaboratively though and it felt like it could’ve just been a book.

  • Fun for kids and adults
There are multiple mysteries to solve! This allows you to pace the games, so you don't have to do each mystery one after the other. Also, the kids love the "find ___" book that comes with it (like where's Waldo).

  • A family version of Micro Macro
As a kid I enjoyed searching games like wor search or Where's Waldo, or the I Spy series. As an adult, I enjoyed the board game, Micro Macro. I did find it physically tiring because the map is so large. I decided to try this out. Search Party is very similar to Micro Macro because a "crime" takes place and you have to search the board for the same character but at different times. For example, the crime is, someone dumped their popcorn on another character's head at the theater. You use clues then to work backwards, who was walking away from the scene eating popcorn, and woring backwards, where is the popcorn stand and who bought popcorn and also went to the theater? The stories are less interesting than Micro Macro but more family-friendly. The board is 3D which is part of the game, but the majority of the time you are looking at the flat surface and the 3D pop ups block view and made it kind of more of a hassle to find things that were not directly related. I think this game would be a good alternative for families who want to play games similar to Micro Macro but with a friendlier theme. I would not recommend it however for adults without kids. ... show more

  • Super Fun
My kid is super into seek and find. This was a good gift! It's quick and not replayable, granted, but it's still a good time and not as easy as you think!

I'm so glad I bought this for my son because it's a fun game for both of us. It's a different concept which is really cool also.
