The heating cords inside the blanket are so thin you don’t feel them at all, and they don’t add weight to the blanket like previous ones we have purchased. Our daughter had it and we ordered one for us before we left her home so we would have one waiting for us! Our pup loves it too! Highly recommend as an alternative to expensive heating /energy costs. This blanket is super soft. I love the texture and the neutral color. The size is perfect. The heating mechanism does not get as “hot” as I would like even on its highest setting. With that said the heat is evenly distributed and I use it without the heat as well.

This is a nice, well made warming blanket and does a good job at that. Only issue, although perhaps minor, is that it warms only so much. Even set at its highest setting, it only gets marginally warm, warm enough to make it worth while, but certainly not to where you could say it gets toasty warm.
