The heating cords inside the blanket are so thin you don’t feel them at all, and they don’t add weight to the blanket like previous ones we have purchased. This blanket is super soft. I love the texture and the neutral color. The size is perfect. The heating mechanism does not get as “hot” as I would like even on its highest setting. With that said the heat is evenly distributed and I use it without the heat as well.

So far so good! I washed this before use and it did well in my machine. This is king and we typically get oversized to work with our deep matress. Great thickness, but not too much. I like the sherpa type texture on one side. Blanket has great coverage with ample drop on both sides. Dual controls offer heat for me and my husband can snore and freeze if he wants! It is nice to get into a toasty bed on cold fall/winter nights! I'd really like a better looking controller. The screen is black until you hit the temp or time. This is a nice, well made warming blanket and does a good job at that. Only issue, although perhaps minor, is that it warms only so much. Even set at its highest setting, it only gets marginally warm, warm enough to make it worth while, but certainly not to where you could say it gets toasty warm.
