Features

  • OPEN COCKPIT FOR MORE SPACE: For a 14' boat, FastCats offer an incredible amount of usable space. They EASILY hold 2 to 4 adults and several hundreds of pounds of fishing or camping gear.
  • GREAT SPEED WITH SMALL MOTORS: The FastCat 14 goes 22 mph with relatively small outboards - 20 hp engines power these boat easily across lakes or bays.
  • UNBELIEVABLE FUEL EFFICIENCY: These low cost motorboats use almost no gas. FastCasts can go literally 50 miles or more without refueling a 3 or 6 gallon tank.
  • 30 MINUTE SETUP: The FastCat 14 can be setup and fully rigged in about 30 minutes. So you spend more time on the water and less time to get on the water.
  • STOW IN A CORNER OF YOUR GARAGE: Because FastCats are inflatable, they pack down to a fraction of their inflatable size and can be stored in the winter in a large closet or in the corner of a garage.

  • Get the Pump @ Sea Eagle Site for sure....
Style: FastCat12 Swivel Seat Canopy Package
I watched so so many videos on inflatables on YT and other platforms before pulling the trigger on this... seriously. I've set it up and taken it down several times before taking it out on a lake here in OR, and I have to say I love this thing, so far. If you get the canopy + swivel seats.. be aware that they will probably come in sever separate boxes. i.e.; I got the boat and canopy in one shipment and the seats came a day or two later. Another issue was the MSO document to register it, if you have to... it's supposed to be enclosed in a plastic pouch on one of the boxes, but mine didn't. :( I just sent a message and the nice folks emailed me a pdf and also mailed me a copy. So, check the boxes for it! I've gone through so many different $100 pumps of all sorts.. I would STRONGLY suggest grabbing the recommended pump in their "setup" video. It's a bit pricey.. but I just ordered one today (with battery), I figured I would just use a "shark" pump but it sucked bad. I also burnt out another pump that I purchased locally from lowes. So yeah.. save yourself some heart/headache if you can afford the bts dual with battery on the Sea Eagle website.. for sure. It's kinda pricey and the shipping was like 50 bucks.. but.. I am HOPING it will work better than anything else I have tried thus far. I ended up getting a few more scotty pads for this and a few pvc anchor Drings.. so I can mount the fuel tank on the rear with 550 cord or bungies to make more room, and plan to 3D Print a connector to mount the Garmin Striker Transducer to the bottom/side. I slapped a 6.5hp amazon 4stroke on it.. and it was pretty dope for the first outing with my little girl. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Save Yourself The Headache And Time! - RETURNED
Style: FastCat14 Swivel Seat Canopy Package
30 days after purchase, I returned the boat. It never touched water, in fact, it was still in the original packaging when I returned it. But why?... The FIRST FastCat I received (in 11 boxes, 7 of which were notably damaged), had damaged parts, including: hull, transom, seat rails, seat, bimini poles, and canvas. They made me inflate and assemble the entire boat to photograph the damage even though I had already photographed the damage through the gaping holes in the still "sealed" boxes (Note: there were 90 photos)... but why?... Once replacement parts arrived, I went to the DMV to title/register the boat. I brought all the documents provided to me by both Amazon and Sea Eagle directly, and the DMV representative told me to leave before they called the authorities because I "clearly stole this boat..." but why?... When you purchase a vehicle (from a dealer) you're given an MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin), and a BoS (Bill of Sale). I received neither. 3 1/2 weeks after purchase, and dozens of emails back and forth, I FINALLY received both. I went BACK to the DMV for a 2nd attempt at titling/registering. This time, the DMV representative (a different one) asked me to leave before they called the authorities because it's clear I'm trying to "defraud the IRS by not paying tax on this boat..." but why?... I had a receipt from Amazon (WITHOUT Hull ID #) WITH taxes paid listed, and a receipt from Sea Eagle (WITH Hull ID #) WITHOUT taxes paid listed... but why?... I reached out to Sea Eagle AGAIN (by now we'd gone back and forth OVER 30 times via email and Amazon convos). They claimed to have sent me the CORRECT BoS (with taxes paid included), however I STILL have not received it as of the day AFTER I returned the item... 31 days after purchase... but why?... Both the Amazon rep (for Sea Eagle), Susan, and the sales manager, Will, repeatedly avoided admitting these were mistakes on their end, blaming both the DMV, and my own "satisfaction" as reasons why they never sent the MSO or BoS, and once they DID send them, why they were inaccurate... but why?... I (a physically disabled person) had to load up a vehicle (that I had to borrow), and hand-deliver all 11 boxes back to Sea Eagle... and when I did, I was treated as if I was the problem, not their packaging, their quality control, their warehouse staff, or the ACTUAL people who screwed up (sending incorrect or inaccurate documents)... but why?... (Note: ALWAYS read the fine print... Sea Eagle provides pre-paid return shipping labels, however, don't be fooled... they later deduct the cost of those labels from the amount they refund to you after receiving the return, according to their return policy)... but why?... Because it's Sea Eagle... THAT'S why! What a weight lifted off my shoulders knowing I will never again have to deal with Sea Eagle. Do yourself a favor... learn from my mistakes and steer clear of this company, their products, and their representatives. [Note: Sea Eagle let me keep the damaged items (as they are not "salable" and therefore not returnable according to the fine print in their return policy). I donated the unsalable items to someone crazy enough to use a damaged inflatable boat] ... show more

  • Good value with a few caveats
Style: FastCat12 Deluxe Package
I bought this boat without seeing one in person, only the sponsored videos are on the web, so you're not getting an unbiased view there. Overall, I'd say they deliver a nice inflatable for the price, but take my review with a grain of salt, I have never owned a "real" inflatable before. I have had some experience with what I consider the "pool toy" class, and they deliver pool toy performance. My last boat was a 24 ft Canyon Bay center console fishing boat with a 300Hp mercury outboard. This is obviously a giant step down in class from there. This review will be updated once I have this boat registered and under power. First, the good - it's surprisingly solid when inflated a few PSI below the recommended max of 15psi. The included pump will get you there, but not without sweat and effort. I highly recommend an electric pump. Now a few critiques of what I consider should be standard. First - the included swivel seat and mount are NOT suitable for saltwater use. The seat is polymer, and as such it's fine. The swivel is powder coated steel and will quickly degrade into an un-useable, corroded mess, the same as all other steel things in salt water. The same thing applies for the quick release seat mount, the screws holding it together are zinc plated, and will quickly dissolve into garbage. The steel construction soon to follow. The QR seat mount itself is laughably loose and is a wart on an otherwise good idea. When you "lock" it into place, you have a laughable amount of slop in the seat mount. It would be much better to offer this as an option for the quality impaired customers who might prefer cheap and quick over a useful and quality part. I do not belong to that group. I'd prefer a choice to upgrade to quality components worthy of use in all conditions. I immediately looked for and ordered stainless steel replacement components to suit my preferences. I hate that I payed for garbage to start with, as I'd prefer the choice. Mind you, I'm not specifying an army tank, just a reasonable quality baseline. I put this together in my garage and inflated it - then decided what would be acceptable after completely assembling it with the OEM supplied parts. The manual pump is a functional part built to the obvious lowest price point. Which is actually fine, since after using it once, you'll surely choose to upgrade. One of the Scotty mounting bases was not completely bonded to the PVC hull material, it looks like there was no adhesive applied to one corner on either surface, so I'll be fixing that with some adhesive ordered for that. Typical Asian QC, pretty good is good enough. The transom is painted wood, that isn't spelled out in the description that I saw, but wood is a suitable material, if properly coated with an appropriate paint stack. The slots in the transom assembly for my boat were unpainted wood, while the major surfaces were properly coated, so minus points for failing to properly detail the transom coatings. So this is a well designed idea with the typical shortcomings of Asian manufacture - i.e. shoddy QC and a general lack of attention to detail. It is overall a good design, and I plan to keep it and use it, but be prepared for what are unfortunately, the usual shortcomings in materials selection and attention to detail. One additional thing to note - unless you're 3 feet tall, the seats are WAY to close to the deck, if you're a normal human adult, your knees will be at chest level when sitting on the plank "seats". This is also not obvious in the literature, but it is an important thing to note. I do not prefer the rotating swivel seat supplied, while my wife likes that idea. So I moved the crappy swivel seat to the front position for her, after replacing the swivel mount with an SS unit, and I put a Millennium marine B-300 seat in the rear position. The cheap quick release seat mount was "upgraded" with SS screws, but it still has steel components that I expect to see degrade quickly in the marine environment. That is a separate project I'll have to address in the future. There does not seem to be a "factory" stainless unit, and if there was, with the current sloppy fit, it would be a waste of money to buy such a poorly fit replacement. I will update after actually using this under power, this is a garage review. I know this seems like a negative review, and to a point it is. Execution on your idea matters. This is a great design, executed without the quality components it deserves. I fully expect this tiny boat to be a great solution to the idea of a small, lightweight, platform for use as a towable behind an RV or pretty much any vehicle, but the details matter, and if you fall down on the details, you deserve to get called out for it. Build what you thought you should, not 80% of that idea. Update - After using this boat for a weekend trip, I have to say. It handles well, rides dry, and is quite stable. It has a ridiculously shallow draft even with a Mercury 9.8hp motor and a six gallon tank at the transom, you could probably run trouble free in 8 inches of water. With a short shaft engine, it needs to be coaxed on plane gradually, or it will cavitate, but once on plane, it runs like a champ. Other people on kayaks and paddle boards are drawn to it like moths to a flame. I put some beach wheels on my own aluminum axle, and it is pretty easy to move around once you figure out where the axle needs to be. I have pulled it from a campground about a tenth of a mile to the launch by hand pretty easily. All in all, it does what I wanted pretty well. ... show more
