I use these sponges for everything around the house. In the sink, they are tougher than the green scrubby side of most sponges but not as rough as a metal sponge. I also use them, with cleaning paste, to scrub down the shower, cabinets, soles of sneakers, stains on the floor, cleaning the carpet - i could go on! And for the value, I don't mind that after one day of cleaning I have to toss the entire sponge. I did notice that sometimes the netting around the sponge would come off or fall apart, but I truly think that is because of how hard i scrubbed some surfaces of the house. Edit 12-20-2023: Bought more, they’re vacuum sealed and arrive completely flat. It takes several days for them to puff up. I'm surprised. These are great, just as good as the name brand ones, which is the only thing I use on my dishes. I love that these come with so many in a pack. I wash most of our dishes by hand (family of four and we cook most meals at home) and these performed exactly like the ones I've been buying for 10+ years. I can't tell if they're sewn on the ends, they might just be heat stamped or something, but my other sponges need replaced after 2-3 weeks anyway, so it's not like either ones lasts forever. These cleaned our dishes great and they're cheaper than the ones I've been buying. I will probably buy more when these run out. ... show more

We've been using Dobie sponges for years but they aren't cheap and they shred after a few weeks of use. These sponges are not quite as good (or we're just so used to Dobie that everything else is substandard). These pads have a finer weave so there is less abrasion and they don't take off as much dirt/grime as Dobie. The sponge portion is also thicker so it gets water-logged easier and that means that the sponge will drip for a longer period unless it's squeezed out. You always have to have extra scrubbing pads in your home and I’m so excited to get these. This is 12 pieces of the scrubbing sponges I’m using them in the kitchen and bathroom. I like to divide up the pack but half in the kitchen half in the bathroom and whenever I need to clean that area very quickly I already have something in there because if I’m left to my own devices to walkacross my home to get my cleaning supplies more than likely it’s not going to get done. These are a great alternative to the store bought ones. The store bought might be a little better, but at this price I’ll scrub harder. They seem strong enough to last as long as the other brands. And now when I make spaghetti sauce, I can just toss out the stained one 🤣. Give them a try 👍
