Once the weather turned cold here I started using a micro fleece blanket as a bottom sheet which was very cozy but without the elastic edges it kept shifting around. I came across these velvet sheets and tried them out. They have a generous fit that works well for my deep pocket mattress. The fabric is thin but it works. They wash up fine and no problems using the dryer. My only complaint is that I ordered the "emerald" green and in real life it's more blue/teal than green. Oh my god. Since I bought the black color sheet in November 2023, it's the ONLY sheet I use anymore, whereas I initially thought they would just be a winter sheet. I love the velvet feel and even during summer in Arizona, I don't feel overly hot. They're quality and feel weighty, and the elastic and material have stayed the same with daily use and weekly (ish...lol) washings. I even bought a second set in July 2024 because I love them so much and wanted to have a second set to put on when washing them. The ONLY complaint I have is that animal hair and anything else gets stuck pretty easily because of the material, but if you wash them often (or actually make your bed in the morning!) it's not a problem. I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THESE AND CAN'T RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!!! BUY THEM!! ... show more

This is sized to fit a mattress that is 15” thick. Mine is only 8” thick and the queen size sheet is all loose and wrinkly on top which is very annoying. We love these super soft VELVET fitted sheets. We use them in wintertime. We have tried flannel and other fleece sheets, but none felt as plush and luxurious as these. I used this to drape an antique couch my dogs had chewed up; ordinary couch covers would not fit. The quality is awesome.
