OK, so I purchased this for my car so I could have a wireless charging phone holder...and this delivers that. It provides a consistent charge to my phone even while the phone is in its case (unlike my other charger that I replaced with this). Suction works great on the dash and hasn't come off once while the phone is on it. The MagSafe connection holds reasonably well, and this mount comes with a little metal plate that can be added to your phone case for extra holding power; however, the tape on it didn't stick very well to my phone case and came off the second time I pulled it off the charger. I suppose I could purchase molding tape or something more sticky to put it back on, I just haven't gotten around to it. Still, even without the additional metal plate, the phone stays on the MagSafe reasonably well, but yeah, the phone will drop off if you hit a big bump. It does hold my phone up on the dash, which is nice because it's out of the way of the air vents when the heat is on, but it will then obstruct the view. I planned to mount this flush on my dash, but the mounting hardware is clumsy and huge. It sticks out at least 3 inches from any surface and looks cheap and poorly designed. Plus the power cord sticks out of the back (Like an apple mouse) so even if I modify the mount there is no way to mount it flush. To top it off, the power cord is hardwired into the mount and has an outdated plug on the other end so you have to use the lighter plug adapter that they provide rather than be able to plug it into another outlet. I only have one lighter outlet in my car so this is a major inconvenience. Over all an embarrassingly poor design. So many oversights and bad decisions went into this product. 0/5 stars. ... show more

Really disappointed. I thought I was ordering a version with a vent option. But, this doesn’t have that option. It is only window and dash compatible. Seems to be sticking. But, what I got wasn’t what I thought I was ordering.

Having only a week and the cable seems to already be internally and no longer charges my phone. The outlets in my car all have power. So in reality I spent a lot for a MagSafe mount only.
