Gifts for my three youngest grandkids. Two were given to me for free, but there is a third child in this group of kids, a girl. The other two are boys and the free ones were perfect for them. I found an identical one on Amazon in pink and made a little girl very happy. They ride them all the time, which is good. I fear that by next summer the bikes will be too small. My 3yr old was sooooo excited when the box arrived. There was no hiding it was a bike for her so we put it together right away. She avidly helped and was in the way but most of all excited. She has a balance bike but doesn't seem to be grasping the concept so when the kids on the street are on their bikes she would just walk her bike. This allows her to be more part of the fun. This is a well-made trike that my daughter just loves! It went together pretty easily with one exception...the instructions for assembling the handlebars to the frame are unclear. There are a couple of extra caps for shipping protection that look really similar to the black plastic parts you need for assembly. I read and re-read a dozen times and ended up guessing correctly that the two black caps were garbage but the ring was important. She's been riding it consistently for about three weeks and really enjoys it. She did tip it once after getting a little speed and trying to make a sharp turn. Luckily, it wasn't enough speed to hurt her and she just fell over with a little scrape. The center of gravity is higher than on say, a BigWheel, so if you're kid's a crazy driver you might want to avoid this product. ... show more

This is probably the best purchase I’ve ever made for a “toy” for any of my kids. My 2.5 year old (tall for her age) has had a blast being able to keep up with her big sisters on her bike. We’ve tried so many different ones loaned to us by other parents and none seemed to work well. This bike is soooooo sturdy and took me (ME! The one who rarely takes out a tool ever!) less than 20 minutes to put together even with three excited kids bouncing around. It’s definitely more expensive that what we would typically spend on a product like this, BUT, this could easily last much longer than any other brand on the market. I wish I would have made this purchase with our first because we could have passed it down. It’s impossible to tip over, the tires are REAL tires so it’s a super smooth ride, solid construction, super easy to put together, the little stand in the back has come in handy for snack breaks.
