  • Outstanding Product
Outstanding product!! Only use the air feature and was very pleased with the results. Charge the battery twice. Once after bring tires on three vehicles and two spares to spec., and once a month recommended.

  • The item will not charge, and cannot be returned.
I bought one of these from Walmart years ago, and it still works. I liked it and bought another from Amazon. This new one arrived unable to take a charge, and CANNOT BE RETURNED. Now I need to figure out how to return it because I am out $100, and it is a paperweight. It simply does not work. I've tried to charge it, as the instructions state. I know how these work because I've been using the same model for years. I will have to find a way to return the one that does not work. It really is too bad. The first one I purchased (from Walmart) was quite good. It's risky because if you get a lemon, returning it will be a bit of a pain. Update: Amazon is helping me with an exchange. If the new one works as well as the one I bought years ago, I will add more stars to the review. I was very happy with the older one. Update: Amazon replaced the item. The new one works as expected. I have taken it on a trip and it worked well. I am happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • Doesn't Last 1 Year
I have bought two of these batteries over the last couple years. Both completely stopped working within 1 year. I can plug the battery in and it says its at 100% charge. As soon as the battery is unplugged its unresponsive and cannot deliver any charge. Very disappointed! Do not trust this battery.

  • Not quite 5-Stars, but close enough...
I waited until I used every feature to write this review. Thanks to owning a Dodge Product with a 392, I was able to use the jump start function today. Here we go... Of course the first thing I did was charge the unit as directed for 36 hours. No big deal. Next, I used all the charging ports. USB is typically slow, but so were the 110 outlets. But they worked, and they charged my tablet and they all worked. After that, I went out to air up tires on 4 vehicles. It's winter so all 12 were low 3 to 8 pounds. The compressor is slow and takes a while, even for only 5 pounds. But, it worked in "set it & forget it mode" which I stumbled across never having read the directions. Set the compressor for 40psi, hook up the hose, hit the button and it charges to 40psi and turns off. Very nice!! Finally, that Dodge product didn't let me down and the battery died from sitting in the cold as expected. I read the rear directions this time that are stamped on the back of the unit. Easy and straightforward. The batter on a Charger 392 is in the trunk so I set the unit next to the battery, hooked it up, turned the unit on, then crossed my fingers and jumped in the driver's seat. Va-ROOM! She started right up. For $100, you could da a LOT worse and I have. The compressor is the weak part of this unit. It's slow, and when it gets warm, turns off to cool before using again. I'm not sure it could actually air a truck tire up from zero to 40psi. But for topping off, it's perfect and saves you a trip somewhere to do it. ... show more

  • Great jumper and portable power station!
We own two of these, and have used them many many times to jump start cars. Nice portable units, which have been handy to lend out as needed. Easy for our teen drivers to operate. Very helpful in power outage scenarios! Nice to have the outlet and usb charging when the local power is out. We have also taken this on Campouts as a power source for some low watt lighting! Used the first one so much I recently bought a second! The compressor hasn’t been hugely effective, but we have had to use it on a couple of occasions. It doesn’t run long enough to pump up a tire. ... show more

  • Everything is relative…including your cousin (?)…
I bought one 3 +/- years ago. Have used it a half dozen times. Just recently used it to check/inflate my Tundra tires. I like the ability to set target PSI and tend to other stuff - and have it shutoff when it reaches the target. 2 comments…. 1) It is useless unless it is charged up (obviously). It seems to take a loooong time to recharge completely. Main thing is that you check it every few weeks to make certain it is charged up. (In most cases, I think it will be but if it is left sitting in a cold trunk in a cold part of the country, do not expect it to air up a low tire or boost your battery. 2) I bought this ‘heavier’ unit so I would have a jumper source in the middle of almost-nowhere in rural Texas/Oklahoma. The one time I needed it, it gave a couple of turns on my 5.7 liter V8. I think there were other problems with the electrical system so it was hauled to a dealership that.replaced the relatively new battery and the 100,000 mile alternator. All of this to say that it still is working although perhaps aging. My son’s “yellow” top brand recharger pack lasted about a year. ... show more
