  • Portable and lightweight
Style: 64 - Ounce
Definitely better than the 64oz bag which doesn't work well with the filter. Too cumbersome and unwieldy. These work well as you can actually squeeze water into the filter. Eventually these will rip/tear and then throw out. I used the 8oz for 2.5+ years before they wore down so I'm expecting the same with these. Luckily you have 3 of them so they should last 5+ years using twice a week! ... show more

  • Hopefully more durable
Style: 32 - Ounce
Just got these and used one to make a couple gallons of drinking water when our well was shocked. The original bag that came with my mini squeeze busted after a few uses. These ones seem beefier and thicker. Time will tell if the seams will hold.

  • Much better pouch
Style: 64 - Ounce
I love my Sawyer Squeeze system and these bags just made it better. The old bags did wear out just as the company advertises. The new blue bags seem to be made much better so they will survive use much longer. I watered an entire Boy Scout Troop through an Elkorn High Adventure Base trek in the Rockies last year with this system and the old grey bags. We had 2 other MSR pump filters on the hike but one of them failed in its first use and the other one we discovered was missing parts and never functioned at all! (We had all the parts at the shakedown but they got misplaced getting into the pack) So very simply, unlike the pump water filter systems, the Sawyer Squeeze works every time! It is also 1/4 the weight of the other pumps and the bags can be used to store water for the hike too. The filter will fit any standard water bottle top so when a bag does wear out, I can use other items instead of a bag. I carry 500ml water battles you can buy at any store because they weigh less than Nalgenes and canteens and fit my filter. The old bags were good but these new bags are much nicer. For the weight of one pump filter alone I can carry 4 Sawyer filters, back flush syringe, and 8 of the 64 oz bags capable of holding 16 liters of water! I don't carry cast iron dutch ovens or pump filters when I hike! ... show more

  • Worked great while they lasted; leaked after 4+ years, about 10 camping trips, minimal squeezing.
Style: 64 - Ounce
I bought two of these bags in 2020, to alternate as dirty water bags in a jury-rigged gravity feed on a Sawyer squeeze into a collapsible jug. The system worked great for about 10 trips. Then on my most recent camping adventure, both bags failed on the same day, right where the plastic spout is joined to the mylar. These were lightly used, hardly ever squeezed, not carried by the nozzle, and usually just hung upside down and gravity-fed through the Sawyer. I guess all plastic fails eventually, no matter how well-made. I wish they'd lasted a bit longer, but I can't fault plastic for being plastic. I'm buying two more today, because I can't think of anything more durable to use that would roll up nearly flat and fit into my water kit, for backpacking. (A plastic bottle would be too bulky in my opinion.) So, I'm going to give these mylar bags another shot, even though they both failed. I suspect it had to do more with their age, than poor craftsmanship. They seem like good quality bags, and I'll probably buy two more 4 years from now (proactively, so that I'll have a newer replacement to swap in). All in all, I'd still recommend these bags. ... show more

  • Good replacement
Style: 32 - Ounce
The Sawyer bags don't last very long and these are a good replacement. They have different design than those pictured, much lighter blues with white but I like it more than the black design.

These are great bags and I haven't had them fail even with much use.

  • Perfect for water storage.
Style: 32 - Ounce
If you get a Sawyer water filter, I highly recommend buying supplemental bags like these. Looking forward to outdoor adventures where I can put them to use.

  • Good product
Style: 32 - Ounce
The product was just what I wanted and am pleased with the product itself. My only complaint is the box was cut open, so dust could get in and there is always the question in my mind now whether these are used or new. I ordered new--who wants used water filters!?
