Ive taken it camping many times and it has a perfect spout to refill cups or other bottles. when compared to the big jerry can type water containers this is so much better. it holds a huge amount of water and its easy to carry, and super durable. the nozzle has never leaked or given me any problems. it doesnt keep it shape very well, it kind of becomes a big blob of water with a handle but thats totally fine. I've been using these collapsible water containers to ferry water to my dark-sky site for about 2 years now. They work very well and have held up really well. The main reason I wanted these was so that I could store them efficiently during the winter when I wasn't using them. I had a problem with one of the spigots last summer. I use these water cubes for camping. The handle makes for easy toting to and from water pump. Wide mouth for filling. Sits secure on floor of of back seat when traveling. Stable, doesn’t tip over. Inside dries out after use (tastes a few days) and collapses back for easy storage. Best part is my water tastes normal. No weird plastic taste. Area of opportunity, the nozzle. I'm in my '70s folks. I bought two of these. I use them in my bedroom as it's not easy for me to get from here to the bathroom anymore. I'm not decrepit yet, but my legs just don't work like they used to, and I have neuropathy in my feet making it a bit hard to balance properly. I take these two containers into the bathroom, fill them up, and end up with over 5 gallons of water for drinking, without having to risk walking to the bathroom and falling down just for a drink. Oh, I highly recommend that when you purchase one or two of these bottles, you also do a search for a hose adapter that has a fitting on one end to tightly fit over your water spigot so that you can easily fill these bottles should it not be possible to fit them under the spigot directly. The dimensions of the container can be found on the site where you purchase them. I suggest you measure the height from where the container will be sitting under the spicket and make sure it will fit to determine whether you need the hose or not. Regarding the fact that they're collapsible, that factor I could care less about. I will say that as the water comes out from the bottle it starts to collapse a bit, and that makes the container sort of loosey goosey. I can say that this is easily remedied by blowing air through the spout into the bottle, and when I've got as much air in there as I can, I close the spout real quick. It's just me living here, so I don't have to worry about someone else drinking out of a container I've blown my germ laden breath into. This makes for a very sturdy container, plus the air pressure helps with the water flow. I highly recommend these containers for anyone that wants an easy way of transporting a bit over 2.5 gallons of water easily about. Just what we needed to transport home water to drink while camping. 5 gallon container lasts 3 of us 2 days while camping so we don’t shock our bodies drinking a different water. Only issue is dispensing valve does leak and is annoying. Looking for an alternative valve that doesn’t leak.

Update: I did buy replacement spigots and the first thing I notice is that they turn a lot more easily than the originals. This makes me think that they'll last longer than the originals. Had a few issues. First was that I had to use tools to tighten down the the taps because at hand tightness they leaked. Eventually I just gave up and started keeping them tap up and tilting them over to dispense. I bought the four pack and after just over 18 months, 3 of the 4 tap handles have snapped off. We have taken this camping twice and it is perfect for holding drinking water. Has a nice spigot that turns off and on easily. It's not heavy duty, but it's very functional and easy to use. when not in use, it stores easily by folding up.

I take a medication that makes me thirsty, so I drink a lot of water throughout the day. I got this to take with me when I go camping and fishing to have an ample water supply with me. It works great for my purposes. It is easy to fill and carry, and folds compactly when empty. It can be a little to hard to tip and pour when it's full because that much water is clearly going to be heavy, but it's manageable. It's thick, moreso than a milk jug or something like that, and has held up well to being tossed around in the car and the tote full of camping stuff. I'm happy with it. ... show more
