    • I finally got my wrist-rocket.
I can remember drooling over the "Wrist Rocket" slingshot as a boy. The ad was always in the back pages of Superman Comics. I never did buy one, and eventually had to grow up and forget about it. Years later, enter the deer into my vegetable garden. Now anybody who's had this problem knows what I'm saying. The deer decimated my garden, undoing weeks of effort and growth in a single night. I installed security lights, and rigged an alarm to wake me when they came. I would run out there yelling and waving my arms, and they would jump over the fence. The next night they were right back. Then I finally got my wrist rocket. I bought the Saunder's Sr7, which may or may not have lineage to the original Wrist Rocket, but it is accurate and hits hard at 50 yards. I could lean out my back second story window, and place a 0.38 caliber steel shot on the deer's butt from 20 yards, no problem. That doe jumped about 12 feet and cleared a four foot fence! Everybody has their favorite story about how to get rid of deer. I've hear many of them. I am here to tell you that when they are being shot at, they don't come back. My only regret is that I don't have any more moving targets. ... show more

I used one of these many years ago - I remembered it being easier to use, but it is very powerful and accurate.

Well made and made in the USA! Was delivered quickly. Price is ok. It is for my son, so I haven't shot it myself, but it looks like a good one.

    • too bad the rest is great for the price
this needs a sling rather than little foam tube ,too bad the rest is great for the price. I restrung it with longer rubber tube the kids can use it to learn with.

    • feral dogs
A reasonable remedy to deter feral dogs from running around in our area, they kill our cats. My tortoise shell kitty barely made it home after a mauling, I didn't see her for a month. I put food and water in my bedroom for her and a litter box. She's never lost a fight with another cat, so I knew it had to be some other kind of animal. Her tortitude is what saved her life, she's now 17 years old and still just as spunky as the day I got her. Sadly we keep finding mauled kitties in the neighborhood, victims of packs of feral dogs. They kill for sport, not food. So its their time to leave the neighborhood, and hitting them with pebbles from a wrist rocket is my plan of getting them to leave the area, as well as the cooperation with the spca.
