    • Very solid piece of furniture!
I just finished putting this piece together, and while it was a 2 day project, the finished product is fantastic. It shipped very quickly and arrived in perfect condition. There were a ton of pieces, and it took me about half an hour to get everything sorted out and organized. Most of the pieces were clearly labeled, however, I had to do some detective work for the drawer pieces and the cabinet rails, which was time consuming and inconvenient. The instructions are very detailed, and anything that is not labeled can be discerned from looking at the picture of the parts. Putting the frame together was a piece of cake; It took me about two hours. The frustrating part was the drawers. After spending too much time trying to figure out which parts were what, it took me about half an hour to get the first one assembled. Once I finished, the rest were easy. I too had the issue of the drawers not being flush with the frame when I tried to install them. They seemed to be getting caught on something. After more detective work, I realized that it was because not all of my screws holding the rails in place were flush with the frame. Maybe this is common knowledge, but I had to work a little to figure it out. Once I fixed that, after a little fine tuning the drawers were perfect. This might not sound like a glowing review, but the finished product was well worth any hassle I experienced. It is so solid, and while there were a ton of parts, they all added up to making it super stable. The drawers are reinforced and can easily hold the recommended weight without any problems. As product is very heavy to life we opened it up on our deck/porch and removed the pieces one by one to make sure no chipping or damage would occur by myself... make sure you take your time and read the instructions and lay out all the pieces with easy access to... it says not to use a drill screwdriver but I did and set it to a low setting to not over screw the screws etc... takes some time to complete.. it took me around 5 hours to finsh at a double check rate.. I was not going to rush this one... very sturdy when finished and looks pretty decent for the price.. it does not look cheap like most flat pack sets do... we ended up buying a filing cabinet from the same company and intend to switch our cheap looking tv stand for another one of these dressers as it would look good with the original. we plan to move soon so all three products would be used within our study room...well built and well worth the money. ... show more

Please ensure that you have two people when picking up this item in its box unassembled, its 150 pounds and feels it! when its assembled i just dragged it across carpet to where i wanted it to be so i had no issues there I think the dresser is a little darker with more or a redish tint than it looks to be in the picture, but i like it nontheless! I assembled this in front of the tv with many breaks in between and all up i would say (going at my own pace with all those breaks) it took about 6 hours to assemble this thing by myself The instructions are great! I got frustrated at the end when i had everything assembled and the drawers wouldnt fit... then i realised that the drawers with the "Q" sticker and the drawers with the "R" sticker (or something like that) which look IDENTICAL actually need to go in specific sides of the dresser as once they are completed, you will notice that there is a longer "lip" on one side of the drawers which are meant to be the inner edges so when the drawers close, they are flush with the legs. my drawers are a tiny little bit wonky... if i had the energy i could fix this by adjusting the tracks a little, but it looks fine so i dont care! The only reason i gave this 4 stars and not 5 is that while i leaned all the parts against soft surfaces, there are a couple of chips in the legs already (possibly from me inserting the drawers incorrectly to start with)... its not noticable but they are made of veneered heavy particle board and not solid wood like the drawer fronts so its to be expected. All up a very nice looking product which feels very sturdy and im very happy with it! ... show more

I tried cancelling this order because of the bad reviews and photos. But it turned out to be a great quality product. It was well packaged, no dings. The assembly instructions were clear. It only took me 2 and a half hours, and I took my sweet time. I would buy it again. My advice to those bad photos and reviews that I keep seeing: DO NOT STAND THE DRESSER WITHOUT ATTACHING THE BACKING. The back, although not made of wood, is vital to the structure. It keeps it square. Without it, it will sag, lean, and fall apart. YOU CAN ADJUST THE DRAWERS. Again, follow the directions. There are left and right drawers. And there are way to adjust it with a simple turn of the screw driver. If it doesn’t go in all the way, there’s a screw head obstructing the drawers from going all the way in, so screw that in further. The assembly of this furniture is nearly IKEA easy.
