I have purchased other Sauder products over the years and have been happy with my purchase. This stand is a great buy and a good product. I needed a simple, smallish stand for a guest room tv. The price is right, the color is perfect for my needs. Direction for assembly are clear and easy to follow.

This stand is heavy and pretty difficult to put together. It seems sturdy but part of the assembly instructions is to add a decal (not included) that states the weight limit is 35 lbs. It looks fine. It is the right size for a flat screen tv. For my purposes, it is fine, hence the average rating.

Not too difficult to assemble. Feels very sturdy. The color of the wood is a deep cinnamon cherry that looks almost black under dim lighting. Much better looking aesthetically than I had anticipated. It also holds my 42 inch LCD with no problems even though the specifications state that it's for 32 inches or under. Just make sure that your TV weight doesn't exceed the maximum specified.
