My hearing has been getting to the point that was isolating me from family and work. I live in a rural community that is at least an hour away from an audiologist and wanted to explore the OTC options available online. The Saturn I purchased made me realize to what degree my hearing loss had become without having to travel a great distance to see a provider. I've been amazed as to what I am able to hear again; from whispers and everyday noises that we take for granted to fully understanding what people are saying. The Saturn is very affordable. The comfort level was good, once I had refitted it to the smaller pair of ear domes provided. Recharging is easy. Be aware that these dock into the charger magnetically and a small LED next to each hearing aid compartment will light when they are placed correctly. The volume level adjustment is a little tricky because of the button's size. They are very small and are actuated by pushing to cycle through each level. I had an issue with this aspect and reached out to their customer support by email which they responded within 6 hours. They provided me repair or replacement options and reminded me that they are warranted for 1 year from purchase. I am very happy that I purchased these. ... show more

I had a bad case of ear infection when I was two years old that damaged my hearing. It really became a problem when I became an adult as I attended a lot of meetings in my line of work. I dreaded attending big meetings because sound seemed to just vanish in those big hollow conference rooms. I had to always strategically choose where I sat in the room so I could hear better. I tried conventional hearing aids, but they are simply a pair of amplifiers that indiscriminately amplifies EVERY sound. They gave me headaches and sometimes migraines so I had to abandon them. Working from home during the pandemic was a saving grace to me because I could turn up the volume on my laptop as loud as I wanted to in the comfort of my home. Then I had to travel to attend a big meeting this week. I dreaded it when I saw the large invitee list. Two days before my trip, I took a chance and ordered this pair of hearing aids based on the reviews. They arrived the next morning, I opened the box to see these tiny ear buds and was skeptical, but I found the the correct size eartips. The whistling sound I heard as I was setting up the eartips (I found out later it was telling me that I wasn't wearing the aid correctly) was a bit disconcerting, but in my haste to get ready for the trip, I didn't have time to figure it out, so I just threw the box in my suitcase and hoped for the best. I remembered the hearing aids the morning of my meeting and took them out of the box and plugged them in my ear as I headed down to the lobby to meet my team. The conference room was just what I had feared - a big room with four conference tables. With twenty plus ppl jammed in there, it would have been a nightmare scenario to me usually, but not that day. I was able to HEAR everyone, even people who had the tendency to speak very quietly. When I couldn't hear, it was clear that no one could either. I wore these aids from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM on that first day and only took them out only before I was going through airport security in the afternoon. They were comfortable, and they gently enhanced my hearing of the conversations without amplifying everything. The noise cancellation was great. Overall, it was a wonderful and natural experience.     • Right hearing aid doesn’t work.

So, I received the product yesterday, plugged in the charger for a few hours and then attempted to use them. The left ear aid (blue) worked fine however the right ear would not turn on. When in the charger the light for the right ear stayed green, meaning maybe it wasn’t charging. Who knows as the information provided for the charger is pretty sparse. Called customer service three times and received the message that no support agents are available so leave your name, email and phone number. No return call yet. They fit in the ear comfortably, you don't know they are in the ears. Instructions were easy to follow. The low setting works great for me. The high setting might be for someone that is more hard of hearing. My complaints are in a quiet room I am hearing a slight hissing sound and there are no charging instructions for the charger.
