  • Excellent product
Color: Black
These shelves are solid, spacious and very easy to assemble. This is my second set of these shelves, I had to buy a second set in order to add on to the ones that I have now. Sanus doesnt sell the extra shelves and pillars for this particular shelving unit

  • Modern, well constructed, and budget friendly media rack. Also great for a small office network.
Color: Black
I picked this up for a client of mine who wanted to replace a full size server rack in a small utility closet with something small, modern looking, and solid enough to hold several pieces of hardware and networking equipment. Nothing in the existing rack was rack mounted, so his setup was overkill and quite difficult to work with. The rack was extremely easy and quick to assemble with no tools needed except my own bare hands. Packaging was sufficient with no damage or scratches on any pieces. I had it assembled in about 30 minutes. The end result was quite impressive for a media rack around $100. I was able to get everything installed on it for a small office including but his VOIP phone system, 2 switches, 2 routers, 2 modems, 2 UPS battery backups, 1 NAS, a keyboard, mouse, and 23" LED monitor. Everything is now easy to get to and has adequate ventilation. On top of that, it looks clean and modern. There is no wobble and it doesn't feel cheap. I also like the predrilled holes for cable management. Highly recommended for a solid, modern, budget friendly media/equipment rack. I'm even considering picking one up for my home audio rack as soon as I'm finished remodeling my home. Great buy! ... show more

  • Solid budget stand
Color: Black
I had been on the look out for a stand for the AV gear in my workout room when I ran across this one. I pulled the trigger after a price drop on the item from Amazon. The stand is a snap to assemble (took about 5 minutes) and is very solid. I have a hard time believing the person who claims it fell apart with 50 lbs on it. I have 80 lbs on it now and it feels strong enough that I could put another 80 lbs on there. The stand is a good height for putting a modest sized LCD TV on top and still having more than enough room for all of your components below. The three large "bays" can take just about any sized component you can dish out... although I suppose if you had massive amplifiers, etc, that weighed a ton then you might need to invest in something a little heavier built just to be on the safe side. In any event this stand looks really good, the metal tubes have a textured satin finish, my wife is really picky about furniture and she commented on how good it looked. For the asking hard it would be extremely difficult to do better than this. ... show more

  • 16 years and still going strong
Color: Black
I bought one of these in 2008. Many years, and moves, later it is still rock solid. Plan to buy a second one and was glad to see they are still made. Will update this review is the 2024 model is any different.

  • Best Bang For The Buck In Decent Looking Simple A/V Shelf I've Found
Color: Black
This audio stand isn't the end-all be-all and it's not intended to be I'm sure. What it is, though, is a very good one at an extremely reasonable price. The finish on the shelves is smooth and evenly applied being slightly more polished than matte which is to say not a piano grade type. The sturdiness of the MDF used is, apparently, of the high-density type and it easily supports 50-lb. plus items such as my power amplifier on bottom and a Pioneer 10.5" heavy reel to reel unit on top with not a hint of sagging or bowing. I truly like the easily installed, and stylish, metallic support posts that screw in between shelves. When installed properly they join together the unit in a manner as to make it quite solid. It's easy to spend more to get a more dramatic looking a/v shelving system, possibly, with some bells and whistles such as cable management. What isn't easy to do is find a better or sturdier solution which looks this good at such a reasonable price. I really find this to be a great audio-gear shelving solution and I'm probably going to buy one, maybe two, more as I'm very pleased to get the sturdy quality with decent looks of this unit at a tremendously reasonable price. My Amazon Prime membership was an added bonus to get a heavy item delivered to my door super quick for no additional cost. Highly recommended if you don't have to have the absolute heaviest or fanciest A/V shelving solution. ... show more

  • A very well built Stand and it easily goes together!
Color: Black
This is a Great Stand for the money. I was really impressed with the quality of the pieces that go into the assembly of the unit. All the hardware was automotive grade, the columns are steel, the bolts and fasteners are all steel. Did not see any plastic oh wait, yes the grommets that go into the wire management holes are some sort of plastic. The shelves are a nice grade of MDF, finished on one side, and packed in fabric sleeves. The unassembled unit weights almost 50 pounds which will give you some idea of the quality of this stand. Finished, it looks sleek and massive( at least in my apt), and it easily holds 4 of my audio components which together weigh over 110 pounds, it looks like it could hold twice that much. Loaded with gear, the stand is very stable and is rock solid. The footers are adjustable for deep carpets. No spikes. So Sanus has hit a home run with this nice stand. As some other reviewer said, you won't go wrong. And the price is right! ... show more

  • Fast assembly and nice looking result
Color: Black
This wasn't purchased for audio but for a printer(s), paper and other PC ancillary devices. It would make a very decent audio rack. The instructions were clear, in English, and took maybe 30 - 45 minutes to assemble. I would suggest that beyond the sub-assemblies of the legs and supports, the final assembly should be done where the rack is going to be setting. It is quite sturdy, has some weight to it and why move that when it can be done in place. Bought another one for an additional monitor, assembly time was 30 minutes. It arrived on December 18 and the box had received some rough handling but the contents were undamaged. Only tool required was the Allen wrench that came with the hardware. Nice product. It comes with a Sanus sticker and I haven't found a picture of this stand with one attached. Nice looking piece of audio furniture with high load capacity, lots of air flow and is now currently unavailable. ... show more
