Compatible with SANUS TV mounts and other mount brands, the Soundbar Mount for Beam works with a large range of TV sizes and features broad VESA compatibility. When used with a full-motion TV mount, the soundbar mount allows Beam to move with the TV for an optimal listening experience. Developed in partnership with Sonos, the SANUS mount for Beam is custom-fit to Beam ensuring optimal speaker performance and unobstructed access to speaker ports. This is the second one of these we bought, and the first we absolutely love for our 55” lg oled tv. We bought a 77” oled for a different room and what I noticed about that is that the speaker is quite a bit more wobbly because the arm had to extend much further down than on the other tv. It’s still great, but if you have a full motion mount, it makes moving the tv feel more flimsy and fragile. Aside from that, no issues to note, came with great hardware and doesn’t take long to install. I'm a little bit of a geek when it comes to my TVs and sound systems. I have been a big fan of Sonos for quite some time and the Sonos Beam is a great soundbar. The problem for me is that I always mount my TVs on a fully articulating wall mount so I can pull the TV away from the wall and spin it in different directions. I currently have my 75" flat screen in the living room, but I like to use it when I'm in the kitchen cooking. When I spin the TV towards the kitchen, if the soundbar is mounted directly to the wall, the sound won't follow the TV. So I searched Amazon for a mount that would allow me to mount the Beam directly to my wall mount and voila! THe Sanus system had this solution which is perfect. The installation was pretty easy. Since I installed the wall mount myself, it was no problem to attach the Sanus Soundbar mount to my existing wall mount (even though it is a different brand). We recently replaced our old TV with a whole new setup...new TV, Sonos Beam, Sanus TV mount and then this mount for the Sonos. My wife and I decided to tackle the install ourselves and it 'mostly' went OK. One thing to be aware of (that we didn't realize until part way into the installation process) is that this mount installs UNDER the bracket that attaches to your TV. So if you are planning to add this to an already mounted TV, keep in mind that you are going to have to take the whole thing down, remove the mounting plate, install this mount and then reassemble everything. We thankfully realized this after we'd attached the mounting bracket but before we'd hung the TV on the wall mount so it wasn't a huge deal to backtrack a little. As I mentioned, we installed this along with a Sanus brand TV mount and the whole thing went together pretty well. I do worry that using it with a different branded mount may add some complication because of the need to install it underneath. Depending on your mounting plate, I can imagine there may be fit issues. In the end, it works well and has a nice finished look. It feels heavy duty, fits the Beam perfectly and allows the cables to be nicely routed out of the way. It's possible we messed something up...but the mechanism that allows the Sonos to slide up and down ended up being pretty tight...it still slides up and down but it kind of rubs against the back of the TV when you do this and it makes the sliding thing not very easy. But once we had it where we wanted it, I don't think we'll be moving it again in the future so it's not that big of a deal. ... show more

This is a smooth operating mount. If you got a beam just grab this one. I have another type on a different tv that is much more annoying to deal with, if you need to adjust it for whatever reason. This one was super "advance" and easy to adjust height. The only downfall is it does use a pin locking type so depending on the size of the tv you might have a small gap between the actual bar and the TV. Not bad though. Works great with the Beam 2 and the TV. It was pretty simple to install and I feel It actually made the sound better as the Sonos was more eye level. Would recommend. A fun fact you may not know about me is I like turtles.
