Features

  • ACCELERATE THE TATTOO HEALING PROCESS Saniderm tattoo care bandages help prevent scabbing, which means accelerated tattoo healing and less irritation. Less scabbing also means the risk of damaging your tattoo is greatly reduced.
  • SHIPS SEALED AND STERILE Saniderm bandages are the only tattoo bandages that come sealed and 100% sterile. This is important for maintaining a clean and healthy environment that will ensure the best tattoo-healing experience.
  • KEEPS TATTOO COMPLETELY COVERED During the initial stages of tattoo healing your body will weep fluids that, when left open, can make a mess. Saniderm bandages make healing more convenient by keeping the tattoo completely covered.
  • 100% WATERPROOF FOR CONVENIENT HEALING Saniderm bandages are 100% waterproof, which means that you can shower and exercise with the bandage on. Maintain your routine and don't let that new tattoo keep you from your daily activities.
  • DURABLE AND LATEX-FREE Saniderm bandages are latex-free and made from high-quality polyurethane that is twice as durable as other tattoo wraps. This means that it will come off in one piece and wont tear during removal.

  • Works great
Size: 8x10 Inch (Pack of 3)
I was scheduled to get my first tattoo and went on a YouTube binge on tattoo care and many people recommended Saniderm. I ordered some before my tattoo session to have it ready for aftercare. My tattoo wound up being a little larger than one sheet so I was able to use some of the scrap pieces around the edge and slightly overlapped where needed. This was not too much of an issue and it still adhered pretty well. The first day I put it on and everything went well. Second day I took it off and did the usual steps of cleaning the tattoo and reapplying to leave on for a few more days. Some people report having issues taking it off but I did it in the shower and went super slow and did not have any issues. Its like taking off a giant Band-Aid. Luckily I did not have a lot of plasma build up underneath like some people did. The instructions say not to overlap more than a 1/2 inch I believe and in some spots they were. For those spots the day or so after it started to peel up a bit but only slightly and never to the point of letting air in. I used small sissors to cut off the pieces that pealed up on the overlap and did not have anymore issues with it. This was my first tattoo so I can not attest to how it differs from traditional methods, but I can honestly say the process was not bad at all. It was on my arm and sure sleeping was a little tricky the first two days, I did not experience a high level of itchiness and I was able to walk around without really worrying about it and showering was pretty stress-free. I took mine off on the 4th day and let it heal naturally after that. Its been about three weeks now since I got the tattoo and it has healed nicely and the color has stood well. Will definitely be using Saniderm again for future tattoos. ... show more

  • Great stuff!
Size: 8x10 Inch (Pack of 3)
I've been tattooed many times and have used several methods of aftercare. I recently had more work done (2 new medium tats, 1 small new tat and some minor touch ups to 2 existing tats) and I used this product for the first time. I wore the first bandages for 24 hours, removed them, cleaned up the goop, and replaced with clean bandages which I kept on for 3 days. I have never had such quick, easy, healing. The bandages protected the tats from abrasion and I had no pain and hardly any itching. The bandages adhere really well and are actually difficult to remove (go slow, removing under a stream of warm water helps). It's important to have at least an inch of clearance all around the tat and to make sure you make firm even contact to seal in the tattoo. You do need to take some care when applying the bandage, it's very sticky and flexible. Highly recommended and I will absolutely use again. ... show more

  • Fast healing
Size: 8x10 Inch (Pack of 3)
Used this on a large upper arm tattoo. I have just had the outline of the tattoo done so far. The good: really like how it covers and protects the tattoo, especially when you sleep, shower and also from your clothes. Kept it on for the first night, changed it the next day, and kept on for 2 days. Tattoo healed very quickly. The bad: really difficult to remove. The adhesive is seriously strong! I removed it in the shower after running hot water on it, and it was hard to peel off. My skin was really irritated afterwards, and I’ve never been allergic to anything. My skin might be a little sensitive, but I don’t think that I will use it on the tattoo when it is filled in, as I don’t want to risk it possibly damaging the tattoo. Really sticky! Update-6/7/21: I tried again on another large tattoo. I used a hair dryer on a WARM setting to help warm up and loosen the adhesive before removal. Worked great and made it easier to remove. Really speeds up the healing time of tattoos. ... show more

  • Protects Fresh Ink
Size: 8x10 Inch (Pack of 3)
What I like about Saniderm, it takes maintenance out very easily. Meaning A&D smears, open wound from tattooing protects while wearing clothing, plasma leak, and heals faster. This is a lot better than plastic wrap I've used in the past. From time to time it will leak plasma in the first 24 hours but that's normal. The first time using this you have a fresh tattoo, leave it on for 24 hours and it will leak plasma depending on how the size of the Saniderm was applied. After 24 hours, clean the tattoo with liquid antibacterial soap with your hands. Pat it dry (DO NOT RUB or SMUDGE). Let it air out and then you can apply a new Saniderm. A little tip: when you cut the size for your tattoo, add half of an inch of Saniderm on all sides to act as a buffer zone for plasma or blood. This will help stop from leaking out of the Saniderm. Once applied I got for 3 to 4 days and no issues with me. After the final day of the 3 to 4 days, I take it off while taking a shower so it's easier to remove. Make sure you go toward the hair growing. You may put on another Saniderm and light coat of A&D for 24 hours but be aware it will have a hard time sticking onto your skin. I would recommend adding 1 inch around the edges of the Saniderm to have a better seal. I usually use lotion after 4 days and just keep it moisturized throughout the day. You can also add extra strips of Saniderm for buffering or just missed spots. ... show more

  • Works but has a learning curve.
Size: 8x10 Inch (Pack of 3)
So I recently had a very large tattoo done, and i'm use to just doing it the old fashion way. Figured i'd try this as I have heard great things about it from folks. First off, yes it did work and made my life incredibly easier by just not letting things rub or get caught and dirty up my tattoo. But you have to be careful with how you actually wrap the tattoo. I would recommend only doing medium to small tattoos with Saniderm. I had alot of issues with it not sticking correctly in certain places like my wrist or wrinkle in my forearm. When it did stick correctly if I made it too tight it would cause blistering or lots of discomfort. I had to change it about 3 days in due to the sides starting to peel. Second layer was applied again for another two days until it did about the same. I definitely have alot less peeling/ink being pulled out then just letting it heal normally though. ... show more
