Bought this for my 4 year old daughter and 6 year old son. They've had a blast beach days. At first wondered why 4 same buckets but it's fun for kids. My kids proved me wrong by enjoying different buckets doing different tasks. Made several castles with different buckets, got water which is a plus for the handles. Also they stack up just like a single bucket making it easier for storage and transportation but I guess it would have been great to have different sizes. Love the colors, as they are nice and bright. Did my research before buying and wanted an outdoor beach bucket that makes castles that actually looks like a castle to me and the kids and this is it. Haven’t used this yet as our vacation is a few weeks away, so I didn’t give a rating for durability but they’re thick and sturdy to the touch. These are cute and a great concept for “building” a sand castle cuz the castle is at the ready! Instead of a sand play set that we got for our youngest two, we got this for our 9 year old who loves legos so as to approach a more “mature” beach building experience - he is excited to play with it so we are already goals! At first glance, they look amazing. I will say this, though, when you stack them together and then later, go to pull them apart, it’s almost impossible to get them apart. It requires two adults to unstack them. The other issue is that there is too much detail in the tips of these castles, so no matter how great the sand is you will never get a perfect Sandcastle shape. ... show more
