My son received this sandbox two years ago and it’s still in perfect condition regardless of wind, rain, snow or extreme heat. It holds 2-3 bags of sand but 3 is putting it to the rim. It had 2 spots that kids can sit although my son and friends prefer to sit in it. Two toddlers fit nicely together. The lid is perfect for protecting from weather. I really wish I had thought of this years ago but with six cats in the house and four of them being kittens you need a big litter box and I wanted something cute! With the other litter box I was constantly cleaning the floors! I had a small swimming pool until this arrived and the pool did its job for the time being but there were a few punctures from the claws. I used to have this exact turtle sandbox so I was super eager to buy this for my 1 year old. He is obsessed and loves it! It's big enough for me (adult woman) to sit on the edge of it and for him to sit inside of it so we can play together. I recommend getting 2 big bags of sand to fill it completely. I only got one bag and it's a little empty but were still having fun! ... show more

I wish the lid was a little stronger. Bought it for my 3 yr old granddaughter and she likes to sit on top of it. Not sure how long the lid will last before it cracks. It may be fine. Time will tell. Other then that it's perfect for her.

Bought for my grand children ages 1 and 3. They both fit in it fine. Turtle is cute, sturdy and lid fits fine. Stayed on in storms with nothing on it to hold it down. This one has 3 50 lb bags of sand in it. I recommend it highly.

    • Turtle sandbox for granddaughters birthday
The turtle sandbox was the perfect birthday gift for my 1 year old granddaughter. She & her brother will get many years out of it. As you can see it’s very sturdy and durable, but most of all there is no assembly! 100% satisfied!
