I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter and was able to put it together easily. The cover is great to keep animals etc out. She absolutely loves this. It holds about 100 pounds of sand, full, and is the perfect size. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Such a great sandbox. It’s super cute and my toddler and older son love it! After putting the sand in, we had so many rainy days after but the sand was never affected. This sandbox is garbage compared to the one I had as a child. Same brand, same turtle, just 20 years apart. The base won’t stay snapped together. The shell lid and turtle face has dirt and scuff marks all over it. The Little Tikes sticker isn’t even centered in the correct place! It wasn’t a solid turtle like what I was expecting. It came in 4 pieces that needed to be snapped together and it was a tight sturdy fit together. It was a very flimsy and loose fit. Once the sand is in it stayed together but was awkward until it was weighted down.

Bought this for my rabbits so they could have some soft dirt to dig in. The size is decent for them, but I’d say it seems pretty small for a kid. Seems pretty sturdy, but it was also kind of a pain to put together. I don’t see why it couldn’t have just come in two pieces considering the box it arrived in was pretty large. Be warned that this does not come with screws and you may need to pop in the hardware store. ... show more
