I have a lot of pain in my heel in the left foot. I desperately bought seven different pairs of shoe inserts on Amazon in an attempt to help decrease pain and heal the problem. Some pairs were very intrusive making walking nearly impossible. Other pairs were better. I am listing them in order from most uncomfortable the most comfortable and supportive. PCSsole 3/4 Orthotics, 330+ lbs Plantar Fasciitis 3/4 Length Insoles, Plantar Fasciitis 3/4 Length Insoles High Arch Supports Orthotic Insoles, Plantar Fasciitis Orthotic Shoe Insoles, QBK High Arch, Dr. Foot 3/4 Orthotics Shoe Insoles and Dr. Potter 3/4 Orthotic Insoles. I bought the 3/4 length instead of full length so I would still have plenty of space in my shoe for my toes to move around. I liked the Dr. Foot and the Dr. Potter inserts the most even though it took time to get used too. What I had trouble with in all the inserts there is a tendency for the shoe to tip when making left or right turning movements. I like to run trail trails and that would increase my chances of rolling a foot laterally causing me to fall and/or sprain an ankle. So I went back to Amazon and research more orthodontics. I came across Samurai Insoles Ninjas Plantar Fasciitis Relief Arch Support Shoe Insoles. They were purple and looked funny in the picture. I did not purchase these before because they looked flimsy to me. I bought them out of desperation. They actually slide in under your removable shoe padding (unlike the others I bought that went on top of the padding). I slid my foot into the shoe thinking this is just going to be a stupid idea, but it was far more comfortable than any of the other inserts I tried. The insert going under the foot padding actually made my foot more stable than the other inserts did. That was a plus! Then I noticed my foot did not hurt as much when I put weight on my heel. That was also a plus, but then I became concerned that it only felt better because I was not changing the pressure on my foot in a way that was going to give me the "correct" support I needed and I would in the long term just run into more problems (pun not intended). I decided to give the inserts a test. I went for a short walk and my heel was l little tender, but still much better than having no insert at all. I decided to mow my lawn. A small lawn that only took about 20 minutes. My foot actually felt better after mowing the lawn than it did before I started. Go figure? With the other inserts I would have had to sit and rest with my foot up for about an hour. Anyway, I have worn the inserts for a few days. My foot is slowly getting less and less painful. This was a relief in itself as I have had this pain in my foot for over 7 months with no sign of getting better. Hopefully, my foot well get better and I will be able to running the trails again. Right now these inserts are my best option. For that I give them 5 stars!

The moment I inserted the Ninja insole, the pain in the center of my left heel disappeared !!! I was able to do a 20 minute workout session on the elliptical and didn't even notice the insole. I was soo excited with this product, I immediately sent a note to a friend and told her ... buy these !!!

I really wanted to give 5 stars, but could not because of one irritating issue with the Ninja inserts. EVERY single pair of footwear that I installed these inserts into began to squeak loudly with every single step. I bought 4 sets and put them in 3 pairs of shoes & one pair of work boots, and ALL of them had the same squeaky outcome. HOWEVER, I FOUND AN EASY SOLUTION (and I genuinely hope the manufacturer sees this); After scuffing the entire insert with 120gr sandpaper all the squeaking stopped. Apparently the squeak is caused by the sock and/or factory insert fabric sliding back and forth on the smooth surface of the Ninja support. Is it a show stopper? No. But it is irritating. It is an amazing product that delivered on it's promise. They have definitely helped me out. It's why I bought 4 sets in total so far. But the squeak is quite annoying. This is why it pains me to give this fantastic product a 4 out of 5. I will continue to buy these (and scuff up) as needed! Hope this helps.

I have been using the Samurai inserts for the past year and my pain from planters fasciitis is now non existent.These inserts are sturdy,durable and easy to insert into all of my shoes.

I bought these hoping for a quick cure. When my sudden onset PF got worse I made an appointment with a sports med doctor who deals with a lot of plantar fasciitis. He tells me I need cushioning, not a hard insert for PF. That seems to be what he recommends for all his patients. It turns out I also have high arches so I need an insert with high arch support. I ordered PowerStep high arch versions, which I didn't even know existed, but available here on Amazon. This is not a criticism of the product per se, which seems well made, it is just not good for me. Since it is just a half-foot insert it does not improve arch support. My advice would be to ask a sports med doctor before you order.

This product is great for arch support but if you have pain in the back of your heel on the bottom or on the side, this will not work. You have to have a very thick cushioned sole to support your heel so if you’re looking to get rid of the pain in your heel, these won’t work

These do help with my pain in my foot, but I have others that feel a little better and cost a little less. So 4 stars. Everyone has different feet and I would not hesitate to get these, but others work too.
