I see a lot of complaints that come from a place of misunderstanding about how this actually works. It's a great charger just like you'd expect from Samsung. No, it's not "slow" or a scam. Here's the thing: the power output you're getting depends on the current percentage of battery you have left. You won't get the full 45w of charging ALL THE TIME and this is by design. At 0-50% or so you'll get *up to* 45w, sometimes closer to the area of 35w. After that, the charger trickles the power down to protect the battery from overcharging and overheating which makes it appear "slower." The closer you get to 100% full, the less power it will output. So if you plug it in when the battery is already at 75% you'll start out at about 20w and bypass the 45w totally. In this, you will only see the benefit on short charges when your battery is really low and this charger excels in this context. I can charge my battery from 20% to around 60% in 20 minutes. The system will also notify you in the pull-down bar if you're using it on a supported Samsung device. I'm using it on my Note 10 Plus and the charger is recognized as "Super Fast Charging 2.0." It helps if you understand exactly what you're buying and part of the confusion can be blamed on Samsung for how they marketed it to a general public who doesn't understand these things. They just say "WOW! 45w!" and that's what people believe. It's true, just not in the way you'd expect. The 45w is conditional. With that explanation out of the way, I would definitely recommend this charger if your device supports it. There's no downside. You can only gain advantage by boosting charging output at low percentages over the standard 25w charger. Yes, this is a genuine Samsung charger made in Vietnam with retail packaging and not a bootleg. I wouldn't trust anything else out there. Go for it if you can spare the extra cash. Using a professional watt meter to track voltage, amperage, and wattage, we compared the 25W charger that comes with the Note 10+ to this 45W charger. At no time did the 45W charger actually provide 45W. It runs at 24W at 380 mA almost the entire time while the 25W ran at 27.5W at 350 mA almost the entire time. What this suggests is that this charger is slightly more efficient and will use a little less wall power to charge. It will also likely generate slightly less heat. HOWEVER, on either charger it only takes about 20 minutes to go from dead to 85% (which is when the phone drops down to 10W on both chargers) This nets a potential time savings of one to two minutes. Please do not waste your money on this charger. For the Not 10+ you should be spending around $10-$20. We also tried plugging this into other non-note 10+ devices. None supported the higher amperage, lower wattage charging. Our assumption is that the note 10+ itself has software on-board allowing it to communicate with the charger. In regards to build quality, the charging block is larger than stock and comes with a thicker cable. Do not buy this thinking you are going to get even better speeds than the one that came with the official boxed version of the Note 10 +. It's the same charger.

Super fast charge for the Samsung Note 10+. As of Dec 2019, Note 10+ is the ONLY phone that will charge that fast. Other phones can use it to charge, but they can only use a limited amount of the power so they can't charge as fast as the Note 10+. This charger is only to be used when you need an emergency charge because using it too often will affect your longterm battery life. You Tube videos only show a 10% faster difference in charging compared to the charger that comes with the Note 10+. Not worth the price. The main drawback is a super short Samsung cord, and the usual Samsung poor quality cord that always fails where the cord connects to the connection. Samsung 45W USB-C Super Fast Charging Wall Charger is the best charger to get full speed 45 watts charging on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7/S7+. It also comes with a high quality 5 amp cable that's about 3 feet long. All other third party chargers I've used do not charge the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 at full speed 45 watts and/or only come with a thin 3 amp cable. The Galaxy Tab S7/S7+ can only get max charging speed at high amps (4+amps), only some chargers and cables can do this. You need both the charger and cable to support 4+amps to archive the max charging rate on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7/S7+. I know, I tried with other cables and chargers and found out this limitations. Some off brand cables or chargers would just freak out and keep disconnecting, or just limit my charging rate to 28 watts. This happened even with the best third party brand chargers. Many third party chargers and cables do not support the necessary high voltage/amps combination to Super Fast Charge; make sure to double check! You need a charger that supports PD 3.0 PPS and at least 4+amps to get the fastest Super Fast Charge; this is an optional spec so not all chargers or cables support this high amp rate. ... show more
