We bought this after our large check-in bag finally fell apart. Keeping to the Samsonite family, we went for a hard case this time. I was hesitant as I've seen reviews for many hard cases where dents will cause zippers to come apart and handles to stop functioning. We went on our annual trip this year and it performed beautifully. It's only the first trip (10.5 hour flight) and we can only see how it lasts going forward. There were no dents, scratches or malfunctions. Of course, this also depends on how the airline baggage handlers toss it about, but it looked good as new. I like that it has the double wheels. It moves smoothly and being a hard case, doesn't topple over like our previous one used to. I do wish it came in a slightly larger size. It was smaller than our old bag and the gear we usually take on vacation fit, but JUST fit. Again, our older case was about 2 inches longer, which made a big difference. I have given it 4 stars because it was only one trip. I can't speak for longevity yet. I will update as we go on more trips. ... show more

Got all three for the price of one locally. First trip was to Vietnam and they were surely thrown around and abused. No damage at all and not really even any scuffs that won’t just rub right off. All three suitcases when open have one side that will zip closed with a net to hold clothing secure but the opposite side only has straps that do not hold anything secure if you were to open the suitcase the wrong side up. Would have been nice if both sides had a zippered netting. Would still recommend fot the price. ... show more

I wanted a quality spinner that also had and easy access door for papers and simple need item while traveling. My older back had a net on the outside which actually worked very well but the wheels gave out. This looks so much cleaner though I would be able to carry as much in it as the net!. LOL It looks very sleek and professional. Quality is felt most in the wheels and zippers and rightfully so. It will be less of a burden/tiring to use than my off-the-shelf avg style piece just because of the quality difference. YES! ... show more

This set looks really good and easy to maneuver with the 8 wheels that come per suitcase. Haven't traveled with it yet, so we will see how it holds up. Bought my carry-on and Medium 2-piece set for $150. Certainly won't pay the $450 it is listed for right now. Either Samsonite or Amazon is nuts, but I don't think it is worth more than $200 and I certainly won't pay more than that for this set. ... show more

Although the box containing the suitcase was damaged when it arrived, the suitcase itself didn’t seem to have been damaged. I will update my review again in the next few weeks after traveling with the suitcase. This will be the 4th carry-on overall and 2nd Samsonite carry-on I’ve owned in the last 5 years. I’ve traveled more than 20 times, internationally and domestically, in the last few years. I’m hoping with this suitcase I’ll be able to retire my current carry-on from TravelPro, the Platinum Elite Business Plus Carry-On Expandable Hardside Spinner. It has a dedicated laptop pocket that’s become utterly worthless to me. Also, the zippers are needing to be replaced. There’s very few suitcases with dedicated laptop pockets and even fewer have a built-in TSA lock covering the laptop pocket not just the other parts of the suitcase. So far I’m unimpressed the quality of this Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside carryon. The outside doesn’t seem very rugged for something with “hardside” in the product title. Instead it seems like a knockoff I would’ve bought on the black market. For now, I’ll give this 3 stars, and I’ll come back to update my review accordingly after traveling with it. Reasons why I’m giving it 3 stars right now. - The laptop pocket is a must for me. The pocket is spacious and most importantly it’s protected by a TSA lock. Very nice hard sided case with ultra smooth wheels and expandable hard sides. This fits on American Airlines carry on sizer no problem. The usb passthrough for a wireless charger works well I just wish it was usb c. Otherwise no complaints

La calidad es muy buena, como todas las de la marca. No se corresponde la descripción con el tamaño, es cómoda pero para llevar pocas cosas. Pensé que estaba comprando la más grande basada en las opiniones pero no fue así. Es un carrion más grande, no una maleta.
