I did need my husbands help in removing the old toilet seats that were put on too tight. After that,….I kicked h
im out of the room so I could finish the installation. The instructions are very clear. I needed to use two tools, a wrench and a larger flat head screw driver (to remove the toilet seats). We also had to buy a flexible hose for two of our toilets that had a rigid hose,….because the T joint part made the connection down to the shut off valve shorter. The kit includes the plumbers tape. We opted to replace our toilet seats with slow close lids while doing the project on 2 of the toilets,….the 3rd toilet seat was wood,…..we had zero issues with getting them to fit over the bidet. WHAT I REALLY LIKE I really like the sleek look of the bidet. We got the ones that clean both the front and back side of your private parts. The handle is easy to reach and easy to operate in the dark for night time jobs. You can control the amount of flow by slowly turning clockwise or counter clockwise,…..the farther you turn it the stronger the flow. Trust me when I say it can really spray very hard,……I accidentally pressure washed my back side when using it after a flush,……as the flow was hindered during the time that the tank was filling,….once the tank was full I was treated with a blast that felt like a sand blaster! We have really utilized these a lot lately not only for cleanup,…..but also to cool off during this hot weather after mowing the lawn or riding bikes. WATER TEMPERATURE The water comes out at pipe temperature. It can get quite cold in the winter time,….but honestly,….I feel like the cooler temperature helps everything to go back into place if you know what I mean and reduce the chance of irritation or inflammation often caused by excessive wiping. Lastly,……we never need to worry about toilet paper shortages.

Love this thing BUT ( no pun )

t one in each house!! Now as far as putting it on , don’t totally believe the 15 install. My husband is a little handy & he said a swear word or two & the first attempt it was leaking We had to go buy different larger washers bcz the washer they give you? It leaks & it’s a bit iffy bcz it’s metal being tightened on to plastic. So if we leave for the other home I’m going to turn the water off to the toilet with the bidet so if it DOES start to leak it won’t happen where it will really damage the house bcz we aren’t here. I really do recommend it. I really do tho. Just know you may need more rubber washers. If it does start to leak I will revise this & remove stars. I know lots of reviews say things like that & nothing is updated but this is August of 2023. I’ll write more if I have any issues with either unit I bought.

sband (who does know how to install/fix things) closer to an hour to install than the 15 minutes advertised. He said he had to "make some modifications." I don't know what those were, but it works perfectly with no leaks. I always seem to turn the control the wrong way to start (lady parts rather than bum), but I'm sure I'll do it correctly eventually. And, I don't find much of a difference in the water angle, but the lady parts side has a somewhat gentler stream. I don't know what I'll think come February, but right now the water is cool, but not startingly so. I can barely swim in a lake ("it's too cold!"), but I don't have a problem with this. Of course, it's July in Michigan, so I might have to update in winter. The only thing I don't like is as pictured. There are a lot of places for stuff to get trapped behind the seat now. I can see why it had to be designed as such for a universal fit, but in a home with two teenage boys and a husband, I see this as becoming a hard to clean pee magnet. I guess that's what toothbrushes and Q-tips are for (other than their traditional uses). In any case, my undercarriage feels very tidy without the need for wipes and just a bit of TP to dab dry. And, yes, the first few times I did a standard wipe after to see if anything showed up on the TP and it did not. Still perfectly white. Sorry if TMI, but what I'm trying to say is the water really works. If you stepped in dog poo, would you just clean it off your shoe with a piece of thin paper that starts to disintegrate when it meets moisture? I thought not. Here's to tidy tushies!

I previously (about 3 years ago) had purchased a different bidet attachment through Amazon for about $10 more than this one. For three years, I liked that bidet, but the intensity was crazy!!! 's lowest level which is great. Maybe it's just the way the plumber installed it, but it seemed to have gone in easily and I have already used it a few times and love it. I definitely notice a difference between the two settings - bum wash and feminine wash. The feminine wash is much softer and has a wider spray, like adjusting the setting on a squirt bottle from stream to spritz. Only had it a few days but I'm already so happy!

Great Purchase, Install can be Tricky

ume you have modern toilet parts. Both of our toilets are really old and the install was more involved. For example, the water line for our toilets was a solid rigid metal pipe. There was 0 wiggle room to add the T-valve adapter that comes with the bidet. I updated both my toilets water lines to braided metal pipes, similar to what comes with the bidet. Thankfully, these were pretty cheap at Menards, like $4. And while it was not necessary, I also updated the toilet tank parts. But if you're upgrading your toilet, might as well go all the way.

athroom has the Brondell Swish Eco toilet seat with built-in bidet, but that toilet is elongated. This Samodra seemed to have lots of good reviews and an easy installation, along with a great pricepoint. I did not understand why the single nozzle (self-cleaning) model was more expensive than the one with dual nozzles, but I opted for the self-cleaning one. I am not a handyman, but I found the installation really easy. Like others suggested, put your plumber’s (Teflon) tape on your fittings first, and install to the bidet attachment first as well. Everything went smoothly. The knob turns so easily and everything operated as expected. The instructional video on the selling site here is helpful. I failed to pay attention to having a choice of colors for the ring on the knob or I probably would have ordered black instead of silver, but that’s on me. The toilet I installed on is a Kohler regular round one with a Kohler seat, and the seat closed just fine without gaps. If you suffer from a loose bowel movement, and especially with the non-elongated toilet, I found that there is spatter on the protective cover of the bidet portion. A gentle wipe with a disinfectant towelette was all it took to remove the spatter. All in all, I am quite pleased with the bidet. Hopefully this review helps someone decide on this product.

My husband thought I was crazy for getting one but now we hate using the bathroom any where else, feel soooo much cleaner you never new before just how nasty just using toilet paper is, we will be putting one in our camper and even my grandma bought one after trying ours!! Bad side is you MUST start
off low then test how high you can turn the handle because this is POWERFUL and will go up ur bum lol. I don’t see too much point in the female was other than it’s a little gentler but it’s ever so slightly to the left and you could just reposition a lil and just use the rear spray instead. I do also like it as a female for freshening up down there. I feel so much more confident in bed.

This bidet is legit. I have tried many. In fact you might consider me a bidet connoisseur. Like many bidets this style, quite easy to install. The stream is comfortable and not annoyingly painful or wide or narrow. Pressure is nicely and easily adjustable. You won’t find a better bidet at this price.

Cheaper price tag, cheaper parts.

I got this bidet attachment to replace a similar model made by Biobidet. Overall, apart from the t-hose connector and the provided hose, it appears as if everything is made of plastic. Only time will tell how long will it last. The Biobidet is definitely made of better materials, especially the valve
and inner piping; however, after about 2 years of daily use, and due to what I would say is a design flaw, the plastic base broke. Still, I would have bought the Biobidet if on sale, as it is about twice the price of this product. I'm giving this product 4 stars because even though it feels fairly cheap and it's obviously made of lower quality materials, it is priced right. And who knows, depending on how long it lasts I may update the review for better or for worse.

As I told my husband you have to get used to the cold tap water which happens quickly after a few times of using. Also, I recommend having dedicated hand towels ( his and hers) handy for dry
ing purposes before getting off the toilet this also saves on buying lots of toilet paper and baby wipes and future toilet paper crisis…. Also, I know It sounds crazy but a roll of paper towels works excellent. You would think that the paper towels would be rough but as soon as they get wet they soften and absorb the water but of course, you’re not saving on paper products by using them. I’m planning on getting one for the guest bathroom too.

gulate the strength of a water get with the switch, don't just turn in on all the way, or it might shock you a bit, especially the feminine wash on your sensitive part), quality of materials is also good, and when installed, visually doesn't look "bulcky".
