The media could not be loaded. I bought this tray to use on my chair at work. Where my station is located is a higher traffic area and my old tray was constantly being tipped over and in the way. I love this tray so far. It was easy to install and love that I can adjust the height and the extension out. I did have to put nuts on the bolts that hold it to the chair. I’m not sure if it is supposed to come with any but mine didn’t. I also live that it is a metal tray and not plastic ... show more

    • Good Tray Mount Set with a Defective Part
The parts of this tray set look and feel well-made. They all have a nice and uniform coat of paint. They are made of alloy steel, which is known for its strength and rust resistance. Attaching it to the gas lift cylinder of an office chair was fast and easy. The tray can be extended outward and upward. I bought a keyboard holder using a similar type of mount, and it was unstable and wobbly, so I had to return it. I was hesitant to order this tray set due to that experience. I was very surprised that this tray set mount was very stable and sturdy, as stable and sturdy as can be for this type of mount. It can rotate 360 degrees, all the way around an office chair. Everything worked fine until I tried to tighten the screw knob responsible for securing the vertical tube that held the tray. No matter how hard I tightened the knobs, the vertical tube remains slightly loose. Upon closer examination, I found out that the screw knob could not go through the threaded hole because it was blocked, thus it could not reach the vertical tube. I could easily fix it with my taper tap set if I can get a hold of it, which is somewhere within my extremely cluttered garage. The downside of this type of mount is it hampers our ability to move the seat up and down. So, think about this issue before you order it. Also, this type of mount works well in large spaces. In tight places, it is quite cumbersome. Another inherent problem for this type of mount is it is rarely leveled. Most of them tilt down a bit toward the front; there is a very easy way to fix this, but I have not seen any manufacturer doing it. Everything worked fine except that blocked threaded hole, which I hope was an isolated occurrence. And due to that, the best I can give this tray set is a 3-star rating. ... show more

This metal tray is made well but does not fit the base of my salon chairs. IF I even could put it on both sides, the screws are too short. My reason for take 2 stars off. I wish that was more flexible for different size bases. UPDATE; I tried to see if there was anything that this would attach to. I have NOTHING small enough that this will fit around! So I'm removing another star. Kinda worthless when there's no place that it'll fit. ... show more

this is a great for a small salon and you need a space saving all metal tray this a great, it can move around the chair freely instead of having to always reach for the standalone one. Can also be used for the client to if you don’t have the counter under your mirror. It can be adjusted out and up to accommodate different chair types, I have an all in one chair that reclines so I can shampoo hair, all i have to do is move the tray to the front of the client comfortably out of the way. Now because its an all in one chair I can not rotate all the way around the chair because of the piston for lowing the back of the chair, I could move the bottom bar further out but that makes it too far away but not a deal breaker.I could just ask the client to move their feet off the foot rest and continue around to the other side of the chair. Installing was easy with pictures and came with a tool and extensions for a smaller pole chairs. Cons: as I was installing the bracket the from the base to the L bracket, the nut that the adjustable screw goes into broke right off, it was only soldered on it two tiny spots so any tightening so the bracket wont move failed big time and now has not sturdiness between the two brackets, I tried to superglue it back on so I could give a review but did not work, instead I used a rubber band and wrapped it around the end of the l bracket and pushed it into the other bracket going to the pole under the chair. It seemed to work for now but for how long and had to push it where I will want the position of how far I want the tray to come out. Also you loose about 2” of the chair from completely going down so if your short that can be a big deal when working on a client. All in all its a great idea except for the nut breaking off and for one star off ... show more
