I’m obsessed with Sally Hansen Miracle Gel and collecting shades. I gave up on polishing my nails years ago because they chipped immediately, but this brand lasts a week. This sparkling brown is gorgeous and looks beautiful over chocolate brown or mauve.

I have trouble keeping polish on my nails--not because I do anything that chips the polish away, but polish just won't stay on my natural nails. I decided to try this gel system to see if I had better luck. And I have. I do my nails on Sunday, and this polish lasts until the following Sunday with very little, if any chipping. I do let the polish dry about 2 hours between each coat. The ONLY reason for a 4 star rating is the colors are not what you see on the screen. I ordered the Mauve-olous and it is a really light, light pink, not the mauve color shown . The Persuade is a darker pink where it looks like if has an oranger hue on screen. I've decided to buy the colored nail polish locally to insure I get the color I want. UPDATE: I know it says no UV light is necessary, but I thought I would try one. This time I only waited 15vminutes between each coat of polish and top coat, then used a UV light for 10 minutes on each hand. I'm on day 10 with no damage to the polish! And I got my nails done within an hour...while I had my feet in my foot spa bath! 😉 ... show more

Ok for starters, I didn't actually think this polish (Holla-Gram) was ever going to show up. It got delayed over and over before it even shipped and on further investigation, seems like it got discontinued by the manufacturer? Maybe? Anyway, after like 2-3 weeks, it finally showed up at my door and I was excited regardless! On the nail polish itself, the first thing that stands out is how thin this polish is. It's sheer af, it took 4 coats to reach what's in the photos and honestly I think they could use 1 more coat if I wanted to truly hide the nail line. The color in the listing photo isn't super accurate, I'd say it's a dark warm toned burgundy with a silvery teal shimmer. It reminds me of the color of decomposing blood? Its weird but I kinda like it, might be especially good around fall/Halloween. I definitely don't have anything else like it in my collection.
