Update: Use the optical audio output! I purchased this setup for my living room TV (there was nothing wrong with my current TV speaker setup, but those will be reassigned to my computer) and the installation was pretty straightforward. The base output is amazing for sure! I was disappointed in the soundbar output at first because it seems like the sound is very one directional when I used the AUX cord to connect to my TV. I was hoping for a surround sound effect. However, when I double checked the instructions I realized it stated that the optical audio option is preferred, and I DEFINITELY noticed a difference in sound quality from the soundbar! So worth it for the price drowns out my upstairs neighbors . Good for music and movies or video games the sound is clear and goes up pretty loud . Definitely good quality especially for the price the set up was easy had no connection issues . It’s a slim speaker . Comes with a remote you do have to get triple A batteries for.     • Definitely bang for your buck, just don't use the 3.5mm jack for high fidelity

On Bluetooth mode it sounds very clear and great. Tested vigorously to find the audio delay and with my Bluetooth dongle receiver on my PC it's only about ~5ms of delay. That's pretty good for something of this price range, even if it's only stereo. The remote is a nice inclusion but I don't understand why we HAVE TO use one of the forced EQ profiles. Give me a flat one, no EQs at all. Like any sane person I make my own EQs through the software or device I'm playing audio from. The only flaw with this, and this might be just a faulty cable or connector but unlikely to be honest, is the fact that using the 3.5mm headphones jack attributes the classic "snowy" static sound that we all know too well. Now, to it's credit, it's not nearly as bad as some other devices I've used in the past, but come on man. The cable is 2ft long. There can't be interference along those 2ft. That's crazy. Other than that, it looks nice, the sub is good for what it costs, and overall good buy. Wish the AC adapter was a bit longer, that thing is WAY too short. ... show more

I had a very good speaker system for my PC for many years, but they recently died. I was looking for a simple (and affordable) replacement and tried this speaker system. I am very happy I did! My setup only allows for a 3.5mm auxiliary cable, which many people say does not provide good quality. I found that the cable that was provided was not great. But upgrading it to a new, better one offers clear sound. The remote is very useful to me. My speakers are tucked behind my monitor and not within reach. Using the remote allowed me to find the sound that really worked. The only thing I do not like is the placement of the 3.5mm port. All other ports are on the back, but the 3.5mm port is on the side, which places the wire sticking out in a weird way. I purchased a cable with a 90-degree angle at the connection, which has helped. Overall, I love Saiyin Sound Bars for TV with Subwoofer. I listen to more music and videos using these now because of how great things sound. Highly recommended. ... show more

I hooked this up with eArc HDMI - the one cable NOT included. I had a few HDMI cables - only one worked, so I assume it was HDMI 2.1 or better and the other cables were older. The sound is actually amazing for such a compact system. It feels like it should cost $35, but it sounds like it should be $200. I really like that they included instructions and contact info ON the remote. Because who reads or keeps manuals, right? So why not 5 stars? Your subwoofer control is basically picking an audio type - music, news, movie. The speakers are pre-wired and the sub is pre wired with a jack at the end. So your maximum distance is whatever the wire length is (unless you feel like cutting and splicing.) There IS a slight hummmmmmm from the speakers, but it's so quiet I had to have my ear almost against the speaker. If there's ANY sound from the TV, it can't be heard at all. Setup took a couple of minutes - I had to provide two AAA batteries and the HDMI cable. But with eARC, the TV controls power and volume so apart from setup, the remote is in a drawer. ... show more
