I've been looking for something like this, but VERY specifically EXACTLY THIS, for so long. I am not using it for phones at all. Oh no. See photo. In case you don't like photos or it's not clear what's happening there: I am using this to hold a Google Nest Mini smart speaker way up high over the corner shower walls. I've had it kind of sitting on a nearby ledge for a year or more, but that has meant sound gets pointed (wastefully!) at the ceiling and bounces around the bathroom, which means it has to be louder than I like so it can be heard over the water. But no more! FINALLY I've found a flexible, strong-enough holder that holds the speaker perfectly! Not worried about it falling off - the gripper bit is quite strong but not TOO strong so that it's going to force it to pop out (I know these are designed for phones with harder edges, not round things, so other options do not work). And the gooseneck arm is EXTREMELY rigid, almost too rigid and hard to bend, but that's perfect. I don't plan on EVER moving it now that it's in the 1000% perfect position, so it can be hard to move and that's fine. NOT ONLY THAT but the tension attachment is genius! Instead of a spring and a clip it's a screw-based adjustable-size thing - imagine an adjustable wrench - that I have fitted perfectly to the top of the shower wall. I think I've bought 4 of these now. They are wonderful for my side table use to save my hands from hold my phone while doing video and social media. However, don't squeeze the handle to harshly because it is plastic and will break. This is the reason I've purchased multiple of these. This gooseneck phone holder proved to be an absolutely essential purchase following an injury to my wife's spine which left her bedridden for an extended period of time. SAIJI's gooseneck allowed her to watch films, video chat and text from a lying down position with ease. The clasp for the phone was easy to use and provided easy flexibility to rotate the phone from portait to landscape without removal of the phone. The phone, a Pixel 5 and more recently a Pixel 8 were secure and never felt as if they could fall. I can't comment on long term durability of the neck, but it has held up for the past year with a period of heavy use and seems to be very sturdily made. I will say that the neck is hard to adjust for the elderly and for those whose movement is limited and a second pair of hands is definitely needed. Further the clip to attach the phone holder worked well with tables / desks but did not work well on the sides of hospital beds. Obviously this is a specific use case and probably rather unique, so overall I'd say this is an excellent product. We found ways to work with the minor challenges with neck adjustments and clip and I would recommend this product to anyone looking or needing to have a handsfree option. ... show more

Gooseneck is a bit stiff, but it really works. Holds the phone perfectly. You just have to watch that your phone buttons are not pressed when you place it in the holder.

Don't plan on regularly moving the main gooseneck. It's very hard to move, but the holder clip rotates and flips, and is awesome. Definitely don't buy if you need to adjust the gooseneck at all, for instance in bed, where you'll want to move it closer, further away, higher, or lower, as you watch something sitting then laying down. You need to use two hands and push incredibly hard. My night stand slides rather than it moving. It's well padded and won't hurt what it's attached to, and it's easy to tighten. Unfortunately, I was struggling to adjust it, I moved it and apparently I didn't tighten it enough, it came loose, and I dented the edge of the night stand when it went sideways. If you want to clip your phone to your desk at work, so you can see it next to your monitor, that would be an excellent use for this. Otherwise, no. Great versatile clip, easy clamp, if you do it correctly, but unnecessarily difficult gooseneck that severely limits its uses. ... show more

I purchased this mainly to watch movies and series while in bed because I don’t like having a tv in the bedroom. It fits my IKEA queen size Hemnes frame perfect. I use it with my iPhone 13 Pro Max and my OLED Nintendo Switch. I still have the bendy part of this. But the spring loaded phone holder broke within two months. It's to bad really because I used it every night and for almost all of my face to face communications. I wish the clamp had been just a little stronger. I won't buy this product ever again half of it is quality but the half that really matters is very substandard and not made to last. Maybe it's a Ford thing, but I'm not buying replacement parts nor do I beleave they are even available. Don't Waste your money if you're not super super careful with products. ... show more
