Let me start off first by saying the picture is deceiving because the product is in no way as long as the picture suggests. I have added a picture of the actual device showing the length is in no way as long as the picture shows. It is only long enough to make one swoop and not two. With all of that being said, it is easily adaptable to move around to different surfaces. The device will safely secure to any surface up to 3 inches max. It is bendable and does stay in place whichever way you bend it to. The device securement on the end will hold anything up to 5 inches wide, not long safely. So, it can hold any regular cell phone just not as big as an iPad or any devices of that size. It is very durable and made of good quality. Just don't forget what I said in the beginning, that this device is nowhere near as long as the picture show. But overall, it is a good product and works well for taking pictures or making videos or doing live shows. I hope this review helps you make a decision on your future purchase. ... show more

I’ll get the good out of the way first: the mounting system is easy to use and the plastic makes for less harsh, potentially damaging interactions with furniture. For what it’s made for, the mount itself is more than enough. I think most of the issues I have with this could be solved with length. Individually, everything seems well made, especially for the price. But with so little length, you need to unfurl it to put it into a usable position. Then you basically have a lot of unsupported horizontal length with zero sturdiness. But then again, it’s mildly annoying at best. It just bounces around no matter how lightly you touch it. If I wanted to hold my phone up with both hands, I wouldn’t exactly need this. There is no way you can use this thing like the person in bed pictured in the ad. Tapping your screen wobbles it, and any further taps would be a game to hit the right part of the screen. And despite what I said about the quality, the head will rotate if you put any sort of force to it, which makes me question the longevity of its holding ability as well as its quality. The clamp itself is very stiff, which isn’t necessarily bad thing, but it doesn’t articulate separately from the head. And with the clamp nearly flush against the head, it’s difficult to use either of them. The head also has a very limited range of motion, which wouldn’t be so bad if I had enough length to compensate for it. Changing positions more than the small leeway you’re given requires you to fully reshape the entire thing, and you’ll likely not have enough of it to do so successfully. On one hand, if it’s good enough for you, the price is okay. On the other, if it’s as pointless as it is for me, no price is a good price. That’s a lot of words to say…nah. ... show more
