I ignored the reviews. I trusted the brand, cause normally these guys don’t miss. I already had a metal vertical wall mount for my og and my first mini.. but I bought 2 of these. I didn’t notice at first how much it dampened the sound quality. I’m not sure if I was trying to convince myself it was okay or if it was because I was just playing them loud most of the time. But I started noticing a hissing/static noise on some of the highs and mids among a few other sound alterations, especially at close range and mid to high volumes.. and that was game over. Over the last week or so I’ve been increasingly bothered by the sound. I bought 2 new metal mounts and swapped them out.. night and day difference. The bass has enough of a metal plate underneath to resonate off of but nothing actually touching the rest of the speaker so you get ample depth and no muffling. These ones sound like you shoved a couple layers of socks over the HomePod and stapled it to the wall.. pros: looks really nice. It’s a cool concept for sure. It pushes sound downward to resonate off of the speakers resting place.. so on most walls, this mount does add a decent bit of resonance ... show more

This total mount was super easy to install! I have it mounted in my classroom so the kids can listen to music. It was easy to install and only took a few minutes. I also have the cord wrapped around the base which is helpful to keep the cord from hanging.

Have bought two of these over the last couple months and for Home Pod Mini's. One is installed in the kitchen and the other in a bathroom, no issues! As a by-the-by regular strips can be used if you need to move your mount.
