I just bought a THIRD box of this stuff. My kid loves it, and goes through it like crazy. I’d subscribe-and-save if I could. It comes with lots of little bags for storing the clay after the packet has been opened. (They could save plastic by just putting the clay in the ziploc bags to begin with.) It comes with 3 plastic tools, and a booklet with some ideas to make. It is literally hours of relatively quiet entertainment (this is important for introverted parents of extroverted kids). It doesn’t leave a mess on the table, either. The creations are sturdy enough for kiddo to play with them once they’ve dried out (arms/legs/tails may fall off if they were added as separate pieces, but you can glue them back on). Pro-tip: we keep one of the empty boxes, and my kid can keep as many creations as will fit in the box. Bonus feature: the dog does not seem interested in eating it (unlike play dough 😬). This is good when you have a tiny human who leaves her creations all over the coffee table. Honestly, I like it better than the big-name-brand air dry clay (it’s one of very few kids’ art/craft things that I don’t actually prefer the big-name-brand). It’s a nicer texture, comes in tons of colors in one box, and it’s more affordable. 14/10 would recommend. ... show more

The colors are beautiful and easily mixed together by small hands. My grand children ages five years old boy and six year-old girl kept busy with this for 2 1/2 hours. It’s easy to clean up. The clay does not stick in carpet! It dries quickly so put in used clay in the provided ziplock bags. We made beads and objects previously snd it takes a couple of days to dry completely. We love this air drying clay at our house, we've made pumpkins, pokemon, Christmas trees... Seriously a lot of fun and it lets your child be creative and make something they can share. The only down side is we left some on the counter and it did stain the counter but a magic eraser was able to remove it with a bit of elbow grease so now we just make sure not to leave it on the counters while it's still soft. ... show more

If I had thought ahead of time to record her opening - excuse me, *unboxing* - the product itself, and oh my word when she opened the first little package, we could have won $10,000 on America's Funniest Home Videos. She was over the moon. She is in love. She loves everything about it (except the smell of one of the yellows) and has spent HOURS just opening them, working them until she, I don't know, likes the consistency?, then rebagging them, organizing them, and surrounding herself with them. She reminds me a little of Scrooge McDuck swimming in his vault of gold. And her delight when she saw the tools? It was like she was opening an LOL Dolls cutesy pet thing. I have to add that the little sleeve the tools go in is interesting and sturdy. I don't know yet whether it's easily cleanable, but it better be because I am sure as the love of all things not nasty not going to touch it myself. She keeps saying "FEEL it!" and "touch it, isn't it" fill in the blank with something nice. No. No my child, as much as I love you and as thrilled as I am that you adore (not abhor) everything about this - I am not touching it. I can't give this 5 stars, despite her love for it, because it is not clay. I don't know what it is, but it's light, and fluffy? and, not slimy, but not not slimy (sorry, I know that my grammar is failing me. Shame on that grammar). She can't cut it, but she can spread it like peanut butter (which she says is "so satisfying!"), she can roll it and mold it, and she has been talking about mixing it (you may need to send the rescue dogs) with slime. All combined the clay packets weigh about a pound, and granted they're full of air, but I'd say they're each about the size of a deck of cards. Thought of it! Clammy! It feels like when you shake someone's hand and their hand is cold but kind of sweaty. And yet. AND YET! When I asked her what is the best thing about the clay so far? "It feels nice!" I wish I could convey her tone of voice, this one wasn't a shouted excitement, but definitely emphatic. She sounded happy. Some of the things she has actually shouted down the hall: There needs to be more white! There's no grey! There's only one red! I think I see another not-really-clay purchase in my future.
