I have been shopping mattress covers and this was a winner. Going to the web page I read all 263 reviews and most everyone gave this product 5 stars. So would I now that I bought it! Why you ask?...well I ordered a 12-15 deep mat cover, and my actual mattress is 14" tall. It has stretchy terry cloth on the top which makes it very comfy, and does not move when you sleep. other nylon ones leave a mess in the middle of the bed daily because the top is too slippery and it is hard to smooth out...all over.to big! The price was half of what I saw in the stores. Has a 3 sided zipper which goes on like a dream. Hubby and I put it on in about 10 minutes. ( unfold cover,and unzip.. place the top piece on the top with the no zipper side against the headboard. Hubby lifted the head of the mattress up while I gently slid the bottom unzipped piece under the lifted mattress. hubby kept lifting the mattress as I worked the bottom piece down to the foot of the bed. ) Piece of cake. I have slept on it 4 days and it is really soft and does not move while sleeping. I will re-review after a month when I wash the pad and see if it shrinks andhow it held up. . . ... show more

Just replaced my Cal King Waterbed mattress with a special order regular Cal King Mattress for waterbed insert. I wanted to protect the entire mattress because it was sitting on plywood where waterbed mattress used to sit. I decided to keep the waterbed liner to protect the SafeRest mattress encasement which protects the mattress. So far I have slept on it 4 nights...just got my new mattress 4 days ago. I washed and dried the SafeRest Waterproof mattress encasement per instructions provided and it washed and dried beautifully! I placed the encasement on my Cal King mattress and the fit was absolutely perfect...this encasement fits 9"-12" mattress height and mine is 12" this includes the pillowtop. The encasement is not tight nor is it loose where you have extra material. It is a comfortable fit for the mattress. The materials used for this product are extremely nice. The surface material is quiet, soft and it breathes. The micro-zipper is wonderful and at the end covered by velcro. The encasement was very easy to put on and around the mattress considering my mattress sits inside a 9" high frame. For anyone with a regular bed this will be a snap to put on mattress. So far I have not spilled anything, my pets have behaved...lol and I am very happy with this product. I actually feel extremely safe, comfortable and have peace of mind having this particular SafeRest encasement on my mattress. It does come with a 10 year warranty, is machine washable, comfortable to sleep on and is noiseless. I searched through many products before I came across this particular one and I couldn't have chosen better. After a lot of research on mattress encasements, I went with this one for my California King Tempurpedic bed. Like many other reviewers say, the terry cloth top is really nice, and the zippered enclosures are well made. I love that it completely covers my mattress, since I bought it used. It was a challenge to put it on because my mattress is so heavy. One thing I noticed is that there is a little slack all the way around because my mattress is only 8 in thick, but putting the bottom sheet on holds it in place pretty well. I don't really notice any bunching of fabric or sliding while sleeping on it, but I did tuck the extra underneath the mattress as best I could. I am used to a traditional mattress and always get overheated at night. I was worried that the combination of a Tempurpedic mattress with encasement would make it too hot to sleep on. The first few nights, I noticed that the encasement was a little warmer to sleep on than the mattress protector which originally came with the mattress. However, it hasn't really bothered me since. It appears to breathe pretty well, and combined with 100% cotton sheets, seems to keep me relatively cool. ... show more

The quality of the SafeRest Premium mattress covers are top of the line. I ordered 2-King, 2-Queen, 1-Double, and 2-Single bed sizes. They fit all of my mattresses perfectly, even on my thickest mattress which is over 12" thick. I am very impressed with the material the covers are made from. This is top quality fabric, much better than I expected. They are soft and quiet, and for a waterproof cover that is amazing. The encasement zips around the entire mattress. The reason I purchased so many of these is because we will be renting out our home with furnishings and I wanted to have clean sterile beds for our renters, but also I want to rest assured that they will be just as clean for my family when we return home. I have peace of mind knowing that these SafeRest Premium Waterproof Lab Certified Bed Bug Proof Zippered Mattress Encasement will do the job quite nicely.
