Description

The Frontier III Residential Board is intended for moderate to heavy duty use on residential pools. It features an anti-slip tread for maximum safety and comes in 6', 8' and 10' lengths. Weight capacity is 250 lbs.Constructed of a sturdy, solid, laminated wood core and a tapered design. From the Manufacturer S.R. Smith's 8-Feet Frontier III replacement board has a durable acrylic outer body, a non-slip, sanded tread and is pre- drilled with two holes for ease in installation. With hand-laid fiberglass and resin roving over a laminated wood runner acting as the board's skeletal frame, the Frontier III board will provide years of fun and safety on residential pools. It features the same non-slip, sanded tread as seen on other S.R.Smith boards. Will retrofit onto the following S.R.Smith stands - Flyte-Deck II, 608 Cantilever, 658 Supreme and the U-Frame. All S.R.Smith boards come with a how-to diving instructional video to ensure maximum safety when using your board.

Exact match replacement for an old SRSmith board that had seen better days. Came with all required new hardware. I had to fabricate the rubber fulcrum cushion as none could be found at Smith et al. Otherwise, board was a good selection.

Perfect replacement fit. The replacement seems to be higher quality than the 17 year old model it replaced. We will see how it holds up. It did take 3 orders to arrive damage free. The company I purchased from provided World Class Customer Service!

    • Website is not accurate, board is very stiff
The SR Smith website has a grid showing board flexibility and this one was listed more flexible than the Fibre Dive that we had previously. That is totally untrue. Our old Fibre Dive was shorter than this board so this board should have been more flexible just from the extra length. We have a Flyte Deck stand and with this board it is almost unsafely stiff. Most people go to dive expecting to jump and spring and it does not give at all. Several of my guests actually hurt their back because they expected at least some give. If you have a spring stand then go for it...if not then go with Fibre Dive. Update: Changing to 5 stars...SR Smith posted the comment below. I called them and they were concerned with my long term satisfaction and are swapping me out with a Fibre Dive. It nice to deal with a US company that cares about it's product and customers. This very action has changed my mind on buying an InterFab slide (which was cheaper) and going with the SR Smith. Well done! ... show more

I bought this to replace our very old 8’ board. Because we have an old-style mount, I also modified the board to fit, which included cresting new mounting holes. The board works great, even with the old-school stand. It did arrive with a small scrape on the surface, so I reached out to Smith. They were very professional and sent me a repair kit at no charge. If you have a similar mounting setup as we do, you might consider getting a 6’ board, since the first foot is not used on the older mounting system. ... show more
