A tool I didn't know I needed until I bought it the Ryobi Power Ratchet is a surprisingly useful tool. Unlike so many other makes and models where the battery's tend to be small and with low voltage, the Ryobi Power Ratchet uses the same 18V battery as all the other Ryobi tools I own which saves me time and money. At first I thought having a large battery would make the tool heavy and awkward but in use it is virtually unnoticed. The power head rotation makes getting into those tight spaces and nuts can be started manually then powered off when necessary. I got this to work on my truck the only thing I didn't like is the breaking torque. After I got around that hurdle I am glad to say it did well for removing bolts in places I couldn't reach. One of my favorite feature was that the head can swivel. I know the battery could get in the way but since the head can swivel you can get around that. ... show more

I don't know what kind of sorcery they used to build this but, it worked. I was confounded because I could hold the bit and stop the socket with my hand. But, I put it on a rusty old nut, and it took it off no problem. It could definitely be stronger but, I know that these aren't made for industrial use. These are made to make things quicker for you. Therefore, I will give it 5-stars. If there is a tough nut or bolt, use a manual ratchet or even an impact. If you have a tighter spot that you can only get a 1/4 turn on a 4 inch bolt that's already broke loose, this is the way to go. Just push the button and let it work. ... show more
