Installed on a Sunday a few days after receiving it and all was well for exactly 5 days then clutch would not engage and AC blowing hot air again. checked pressures and lines, no leaks, replaced relay, clutch fuse and AC fuse checked connections and even tried jumping with no avail. It's definitely the compressor low pressure switch that came with this preinstalled. I should have read all the reviews as this is definitely a remanufactured unit and not new. Asked for a credit without needing to uninstall and return. Let's see where this goes. ... show more

    • Learn from my MISTAKE do NOT BUY THIS COMPRESSOR!!!!
I have a 2008 Honda CRV. The AC stopped working and it was diagnosed as needing a new compressor. I unfortunately trusted Amazon reviews (DO NOT THIS MISTAKE YOURSELF) as a guide to help me figure which of the many replacement compressors to buy. This compressor shows good reviews. I bought it and had to wait several weeks to have it installed. After it was installed it did not work. The mechanic suggested taking it to another mechanic who might be able to diagnose/fix the problem. After waiting again for some time to be able to see if it could be fixed they determined that the clutch on this compressor is not working. It will cost more to fix it than to buy a new compressor. By the time I found all this I could no longer return the compressor. I now have a very expensive paper weight. Please save yourself the trouble and expense by NOT purchasing this product. ... show more

    • Stopped working after 45 days
I installed this ac compressor my self after putting the Freon in it’s was working properly I thought. During a few hot days over 100 degrees it having an issue try to cool down. Now it doesn’t work at all. I checked all the fuses and relay to make sure. This unit is definitely defective and I would advise everyone not to purchase it. That don’t warranty their product.
