    • Super deal on a very well put together AC kit.
The parts in this kit would have cost me $400.00, or more, at Napa. All the parts went together perfectly. A nice feature: the flange on the front of the pulley (part of the clutch) has be redesigned and is smaller. This allows easier install of the three mounting bolts. The pulley LOOKS smaller, but measures exactly the same with my calipers. A previous review stated the pulley was smaller and he needed a 1 inch shorter belt. These vehicles had several belt choices due to various configurations. I suspect he bought a new, but incorrect belt at the time of the job. It fit and seems to work fine, whether it lasts is a good question. The compressor runs quiet and doesn't drag the engine down when it kicks on. There were a lot of o-rings in the kit but there was one it did not have. I will know in a couple years whether it is any good or not.

    • Perfect A/C kit
This A/C kit fit my 1995 Chevy C1500, 2wd perfect. I read some negative reviews but I just didn’t see anything negative at all. The only negative thing about this kit is that there are no instructions. On the other hand if you are attempting to install this kit you should have a good mechanical knowledge and a fair amount of tools. You can search the internet and find plenty of people giving you directions on install. This kit has everything I needed, even had several o rings left over. Once I had it all installed and tried it out, it was throwing snowballs. Only time will tell how long it will last but first impressions are all good. I recommend this kit. ... show more

    • You may need to grind your mounting bracket. There's two different backs on them.
When I got the compressor they look identical except for the very back the original compressor has a smaller center hump. These have a larger hump. So you may have to grind the bracket that the AC pump sits on by half an inch. This clearance is necessary so that the AC pump sits level. Other than that everything works great. ... show more

Seals don't fit had to hand work one out to fit . Receiver dryer threads don't fit application had to purchased one at parts store to make repairs. Disappointed ! Unit is up and running. Products from Amazon aren't up to par! I'm so disappointed I'm going to pay more and go back to the parts store!

    • Direct fit replacement with no problems
I'm not sure what the others are complaining about this was a perfect fit replacement for my 95 c1500. I get what people are saying about the pulley being smaller and while I havnt mic'ed it it seems like it's the same size or just a millimeter or so smaller because the access holes are definetly easier to get too on this new on than on the old one. Either way everything bolted up great and the kit comes with all the seals needed for the job. ... show more

    • Cheap replacement compressor.,
It is actually easier to install then factory compressor. The bracelet that was always in the way of removing the bolts is removed. I’ve only had it a few months. Not sure on longevity, but I’ll report later.
