I chose this curtain because there were no reviews complaining about perfumes or chemical odors, and at $21 it seemed like a reasonable chance to take on a very utilitarian purchase. A couple of weeks ago, I bought a different brand's blackout curtain, which is good quality in every way except it was loaded with perfume that took many washings to remove, only to reveal that the perfume was covering a strong chemical odor. I had to leave it in the sun for a week and launder a few more times to remove the chemical odor. Because it wasn't apparent until after the first wash and dry just how strong all the smells in the first curtain were, when the RYB panel arrived I washed it immediately in hot water, then dried it on hot. It laundered very nicely and there was NO lingering smell of chemicals or perfume. I needed this single panel to augment the first panel that wasn't quite wide enough. I needed two panels, though, so I cut this one down the middle. I would have left it raw as I often do. But the panel has no backing to hold it together and begins to fray right away, so I had to hem the raw edges. This is just an FYI that in case you tear your curtain or if a seam comes undone, you need to repair it right away. So now this curtain, in two pieces, frames the other curtain and blacks out all the street lights. It hangs smooth and straight. It is only about 1/4 the weight of the middle curtain so I don't have to worry that the combined weight (along with the curtain-opening robot) will pull out the drywall. We think the two curtains (this one in black, the other one in light blue linen) look good together, and even if we're wrong, only we see it so it's ok. Caveat: I don't think this curtain is thermal. This curtain i picked is the color white i was struggling to see if pure white or greyish white was better i ended up chossing white and did not regret its good to divide a living room to make it a “bedroom” the color white also blocks abit of light but only a bit of light comes on top. lets move onto the installation is really good installation process is really easy. The Fabric is a kinda silk texture which is really good does not really catch alot of dirt. as you can see on the image The Fit is very good size mine is 9ft penght and fits perfect it touches the ground too! ... show more

I ordered one for my kitchen just to try. It's a light color and I wasn't sure how much light it would block. Well, it's perfect! Blocks the bright east morning sun until opened. I have since ordered more and have one as a divider to block a draft. I really am pleased with this product. They are well made, same color on both sides and do exactly as expected. The hooks are a nice quality and slide easily on a wooden or metal rod. I plan on ordering more and replacing all the drapes in my house. ... show more

I got the Beige W 8.3 x L 7 ft single curtain to divide my little office space from my bedroom. I wanted a more professional look during my Zoom calls (plus the separation of space), and I believe this curtain helped achieve that. It helped hide everything behind it well as the sheerness on the fabric is very low. However, do consider that I don't get a lot of sun in through my window so this is on a case by case basis. Pros? - The beige is a light and lovely color, works better blending in with the walls than a white curtain would have - The fabric material itself is pretty sturdy for the price! - The metal rings are sturdy as well - It is not sheer enough to bring light into my "office" - Looks good and makes my room even more private feeling and cozier <3 Cons? - I too wish the "Made in China" tag wasn't visible. You'll see it in the top left corner of the 4th image. - For the quality and weight of the fabric, the layers should have been double stitched for increased durability. - I wish it wasn't obvious what side is the "front". Would have preferred a more genuine double-sided curtain that didn't show the "inside" end of the fabric. Lastly, remember that the width of the curtain includes the scrunched up parts so you might want to get something wider if you're wanting to cover a wider area. I could have gone a size higher to completely divide my room up but I am still very happy with how it came out. Overall this is a great product for the price that I would recommend and buy again. ... show more

I wanted to divide a room in half. With these royal blue curtains installed through a 1 inch diameter galvanized pipe life couldn’t get much prettier. They look stunning. Wrinkles will disappear. I ordered 3 pair for a 10 ft across room. Wow!

Originally I purchased for window covering, but quickly recognized how versatile these were. I purchased more and paired with the overhead sliding track and was able to hide in the garage(s) first a wall of shelfs with multiple storage containers (the hot mess of stuff we accumulate in life and are embarrassed to have others see your boxes of christmas lights, luggage for days, just so much storage argh.. (LOL). Then this worked very well in the area that the hot water tank is located in. A simple track that I can slide back but otherwise is covered from ceiling to floor so that visually it is more appealing. If you have an area that you have a plethora of stuff or something like plumbing /heating/ hot water tank that just take away from the appeal of a room, this is worth the purchase, you can get the version that does not have grommets but the length worked better as it raised it up from the floor more with the hooks I used. ... show more
