I ordered this to replace the bath fan in our 2006 Kodiak Hybrid Camper. The installation was smooth with no issues. This was a perfect fit include interior trim plate. I did have to furnish screws for the interior trim and a few I installed on the roof section but they were readily available and actually had what I needed in the shop. I did reuse the existing white crank handle as the one that came with the fan was black. I received the order quickly and is of good quality. The fan only goes in one direction. It is supposed to have a blow mode and a vent mode. It only goes in one direction and is extremely loud, as if the blades are off balance or are hitting something… ***Received a replacement. The remote worked and the unit did have a vent and separate fan mode that worked, however it is still extremely loud. After looking at the unit, slowly spinning the blades by hand, the blades hit the frame which it is mounted to. I sent an email to the company. They said they would notify the R&D team, but have not remedied or suggested a situation…update #2 the replacement lasted 2 days before the button broke apart. Now it can not be turned on at all. I ordered this item because I was missing the vent. It was an emergency purchase. Received the item with the butyl tape exploded. I insulted the vent which is a good quality vent, but after the insulation noticed I never received the remote so the fan does not work. Called customer service and they do not replace parts. Uninstalling and leaving open my camper is not an option. So now I have a vent that does not have a working fan. Edit: after the review they resent a new fan with a remote and extended the return period for the old fan. I do now have a working fan. ... show more

This product is okay for an inexpensive roof vent. It's not of high quality. The plastic crank handle stripped out the first time I tried to shut the lid completely. Good thing they provide you with a spare crank. I know I should have bench tested the fan before I installed it but I didn't and it doesn't work. It isn't worth it to take it back out so I'll just live with it. ... show more
