The versatility of this power station is excellent. It is small and lightweight enough to carry camping or to a sports tailgate event. It comes with four batteries, the solar panels and all cables needed to connect everything. It takes two batteries in the main control unit and has plugs for regular 110volt devices, USB-a devices, USB-c devices and car plug devices. It has a light on the unit if needed. There is a clear display screen giving battery status information so you will know how much life your battery has left. It allows for the charging of two batteries simultaneously and will charge fully in about five hours depending on how sunny it is. It also comes with attachments to use a single battery in a stand alone way without the need of using the whole generator control unit. This makes small needs easy to just throw a battery in a backpack or bag and take with you. Its silent and lightweight compared to a generator powered by gas. The battery life is great for most applications, but is less when using a high amp rated device like a power tool or microwave. I have a bigger and heavier power station for long camping trips but wanted something a bit smaller and easier to carry around without sacrificing maximum watt hours. Most power station have fixed battery thus having a fixed maximum capacity. This power station has battery packs that you can swap out increasing the capacity when needed which is awesome for both short and long trips. The other neat thing is that it has a quick charge feature when using both a USB-C and wall charger. I was able to charge both batteries from 40% to 100% in a little over an hour. Charging it only using the DC 12v wall charger took about 2 hours from 40% to full... still not bad at all. Besides that, it has all the features I would expect from a power station: LED lights, AC and DC outlets, USB ports, etc. The display is nice and it's very similar to my heavier power station that I love. The display shows watt input and output which is great if you are charging it with solar and wanting to know net wattage. It also shows percentage of battery life left and how many hours left depending on current watt usage. Overall, loving the portability of it and the battery swapping feature it has. That feature alone makes it much better than some of the other power station I've own. Awesome power station all-around. ... show more

    • Genius modular design!

Above all, this is the absolutely genius modular design with limitless flexibility. You can charge batteries inside and outside generator using power outlets or solar panels. It comes with plenty of cables for multiple applications. I used the solar panel and got some juice flowing in partial sun. I tested it with 250W mini cooker and made me some wontons using up 10% of the charge. Then I pulled out my camping fridge, set it to 0F and got over 30 hours out of two sets of batteries. It does the job… so why four stars? Well, it’s a very conventional tech with no fast charge as far as I can tell and conventional lithium ion chemistry. I also encountered a hiccup while powering my camping fridge. At one point my generator started beeping low battery warning and showing 5% charge when it was half full a minute ago. I turned it off and on and it went back to 55% and worked fine till the end. And while the modular design is extremely useful, I can’t help feeling that all that swapping of batteries might eventually damage or wear out the contacts. Don’t get me wrong, I would still buy it at the sale price I paid. Not sure I would pay the full price given all the reservations I have. So wait for a sale and get the bag which is pricey but worth it… and this generator is worth a shot. ... show more
