Very sturdy--one end has zero margin--perfect for measuring kumihimo braids! The 6" ruler can be used to measure kumihimo braids still on the large-hole kumihimo disk--it is 11/16" wide. :-) But the 12" is 1" wide---tight fit. The 16" is 1 1/8" wide--too large to use with the braid still on the disk. There is a hole in the end of the ruler to use in hanging the rulers. Good value for three rulers. ... show more

I mostly needed/use these for a straight edge rather than detailed measuring/drafting work. With that said, the edges are sharp and needed to be lightly sanded/filed down, I was able to do this without compromising the line marks. Works for my application, a good purchase.
